Chapter 5

                      Aarohi's p.o.v.

( a day before Mishti's marriage) 

" Di relax na.......... We will find some way "
I said for the nth time in an attempt to console di for stop blaming herself.

" No Aaru, it's me only....... Who is the reason for our today's situation..... If I wouldn't have messed with him,  we would have been living peacefully .......    ........its me "

some tears of regret roll down her eyes which were enough to provoke me.

I stood up and my fist already curled up , whitening my knuckles a bit.

" Di....... I swear on your every single tear....... I will definitely punish him even if he- "
 

But before I could complete I was cut off by her stern voice,

" Don't you dare Aaru....... You will not risk your life....... No....... I will talk to him tomorrow and will sort this matter. " she said with determination

"But di..... "

"No more argument Aarohi"

She said and ignoring her sentence I only marked my name.... Yep she called me by my full name rather then Aaru.......which annoyed me but at the same time I knew she only does this when she is hell angry on me or wanna stay alone for sometime.... So I quickly left our room and slept with mom in her room.

Next day,
8:00 pm

I was sitting on the couch taking glances at the closed from inside door and stomping my feet of the floor restlessly.........

Suddenly the doorbell rang and I quickly ran to the door,  unlocked it and saw.........

                   Krish's p. o. v.

As soon as I rang the bell,  someone opened the door...... Oh.....so Maybe waiting for the bell to ring. Anyways, I looked up at the figure in front of me and my eyes met with her brown orbs reflecting pure innocence.
But my constant stating session was interrupted by her confused yet cute look and melodious voice,

" Who are you? "

                                " Ummm .......for you yet stranger sweetheart but you can call me by any name"

" See, I am in no mood to argue hence kindly tell me the reason of your arrival or else I have more kind ways "

She said gritting her teeth with a tight lipped smile emphasizing the word kind ......

" Must say this girl have got guts .....look at her attitude man"
I thought to myself

" Okay miss I will not be beating around the bush now, I just came as a messenger of your elder sis Mishti"

Not willing to trouble her more I said as what I was going to say next world definitely effect her mental state.

" Di.......where is she?",those eyes reflecting rage suddenly turned soft and desperation to meet her di was sparkling in them.

" She didn't came with me  she just asked me to tell you ......................

.....       ......      ......    ......      ......        ........    ( I narrated their contract marriage but didn't told about Mishti serving Shrey condition as per Mishti's wish )

......    ......   .....   .....   and at the end she asked me to tell you to take care of yourself and aunty as she isn't here and don't worry about money as Mishti di will deliver it monthly to your house as she will continue her job ......and yes last but not the least I am really sorry Aarohi.......I know I don't deserve your forgiveness but still can you atleast not  hate me ?  See I know I should have stopped my brother but I am so helpless i ...............just ........the situation wasn't in my control " ........" I am Sorry "

I finished with my narration and all this while I was not able to meet her gaze feeling guilt rising in my heart .
Even though Mishti di didn't told anything about money I couldn't resist myself to bring up that atleast not after seeing tears continuously flowing through her eyes ..,........

"Di"

Some words escape from my mouth which came more like a whisper.
I fell on my knees .......my di suffered this much and she did all this just to or our sake ......di ........more years blurred my vision .
I very rarely broke down as di have me all reasons to only smile .....but the thought of not getting her by my side was killing me.

"Hey please console yourself ........I know it is indeed a break down situation but you need to stay strong as in her absence you even have to handle your mom"
He held me by my shoulder half-hugging me and whispered some soothing words holding me by my shoulder. ..,.......

But he is right .......I can't breakdown this way .......

I quickly wiped my tears and freed myself from his grip gently even though it was going me unknown peace.

"Thanks for consoling me. Please take care of my di ........I will not be able to survive if anything happened to her"

                 Krish's p.o.v.

I nodded slightly and left the place.
But how is this even possible ?
The way she gave  me a savage comeback at the start and even di told that  she would plan to take revenge from bhai
But She seemed calm.

Maybe calmness before the storm
