"Mom! No!" A little girl, who seems to be around 12 or 13, screams as she watches the man she cared about continuously hit her mother. He hit her until he saw blood. He hit her until she wasn't able to fight back anymore. He hit her until her skull cracked beneath his hand and he felt no remorse. No sadness. He was only afraid of getting caught by the police and not upset about the life he took.
"You killed her! You killed my mother!" She cried out as she leaned over hugging her little brother who was cuddled up in the corner because he was afraid. "Hey! Shut your mouth!" The older man shouted as he walked over to the little girl with blood staining his hands. "Get away! Get away!" She screamed.

"Hey, you alright?" Derek asks as he comes up beside Maya, resting a hand on her shoulder, bringing her out of a trance. "Uh, yeah. Fine" Maya stated coldly before shrugging Derek's hand off of her and entering the BAU and heading straight for her desk.
"Maya, hey" Garcia greeted as she looked to Maya who didn't seem herself today. Something was off.
"Can I help you?" Maya asks as she looks to Garcia who stands next to Maya quietly while also analyzing her. "I'm sorry. I know today must be hard for you" Garcia stated.
"Why would today be hard?" Maya asks as she crosses her arms over her chest and stares into Garcia's eyes as Garcia stammers over her words. "I remember your file and it showed your mother and how she-".
"Stop" Maya interrupts and Garcia widens her eyes as she stops rambling.
"I'm sorry. I know what that feels like. Remembering the events that you don't want too" Garcia tries to reassure but Maya just shakes her head. "Stop!" Maya shouts, grabbing everyone's attention.
"Is everything okay?" Emily asks, leaning forward in her seat. Maya doesn't reply except she heads to round table and waits for everyone else, hoping Garcia doesn't spread her business around.
Later, Garcia briefs the team on the mass murders at a Virginia Internet security firm. Apparently, the bearded man didn't just kill the boss. He killed everybody in the office using a gun AND a knife. Unusual. "It could be two killers" JJ theorizes. "That would be the first time for a workplace killing" Rossi states as everyone looks to Maya for her opinions but she sits in her chair, looking down at the table with a blank stare.
"Okay," Derek clears his throat, noticing how out of it Maya is. "Their business is internet security for corporations. They didn't have video surveillance?" Derek wonders but the company had just moved into a new building and cameras weren't installed yet. "So, no one heard or saw anything?" JJ asks and Garcia just shrugs her head before looking back at Maya who sits alone at round table. Garcia begins to think he shouldn't have brought up such a touchy subject.
