Everyone was chilling on the ship, minding their own business, you were laying besides Nami, reading a book with her. Lu carried a large box over to you guys, put it down heavily make a thumping sound, everyone including you looked at him.
"Phew~ that's heavy!"
"What is that?"_ Nami startled.
"I found it in the storage room!"
"Those are cannon balls!"
"We finally got a cannon, so I thought I'd do some practice!"
"Then just leave it to me! I believe it when I was three that I jumped on a cannon ball flying my way and traveled halfway around the world-"_ Usopp had his hand on his chin confidently said then sees Lu's not paying attention at all.
"How do you work this thing?"_ Lu dumbfounded, his hand rubbing on his head said.
"Listen!!"_ Usopp scolds Lu.
"Oi, Zoro! Do you know how to work it?"_ Lu asks Zoro.
"He's been fast asleep all this time."_ Nami said.
"(Y/n)-nee chan! Do you know?"_ Lu turned to you, asked.
"Cannon balls? Hm... I think I know a little bit."
"Cool! Just show me (Y/n)-nee chan!"
"Alright, alright. Wait for me a little bit Lu."
"A little further to the South is a reef that would make a perfect target!"_ Nami informs.
"For real? Let's go! Let's go there!"_ Lu gets excited said.
"Oi! You're gonna fire a cannon without me? People used to call me Cannon Master Usopp, you know! Listen!"_ Usopp scolds Lu.
You go to Lu, demonstrate to him and Usopp how to fire a cannon.
"Now as I remember... First, you need to open the breech to fill a cannon ball like this. Then you close it, aim at somewhere to shoot at and lastly, you lit the flint. You two understand?"
"Aye (Y/n)-nee chan! Thanks!"_ Lu beamed.
"Wow how'd you know about this
(Y/n)?"_ Usopp asked.
"Nothing at all. I used to see some other people do it like this so I just show you guys from what I see and remembered."
The boys after hearing at your demonstration, they excited trying the cannon. Lu shoot it first but he missed.
"Huh? That was way off!"_ Lu.
Then at Usopp's turn, he aim the cannon higher, lit the flint and it shooted right at the reef. Lu and you impressed.
"Amazing! You hit it on your first try!"_ Lu praised him.
"Impressive. A successful hit at first try. Good one, Usopp. Fufufu..."_ You added, gave him a thumbs up.
"What ya think? I'm awesome when it comes to aiming! Impressed?"_ Usopp sweating profusely, totally surprised at himself.
"Yeah yeah! It's settled! You're our sniper!"_ Lu said.
