You just layed down and drifted to sleep..
(CHAPTER 2)

Y/N pov:
You woke up to your alarm blaring in your ear. "Ugh.. shut up..." you groaned. You threw your pillow at your alarm, and it stopped. You slowly got up rubbing your eyes. You got out of bed, and slowly walked into the bathroom. You took a shower, and that seemed to officially wake you up. After you were done you walked back into your room.

You got changed into a hoodie since you didn't really want to look nice. You packed all your things into your backpack and went on your way to school. Your parents were still sleeping and you noticed your brother already off at school. Honestly you couldn't care less about his whereabouts.

You made your way to school still a little groggy. You accidentally bumped into another student on your way. "Oh, sorry I didn't see you there!" You apologized. "Hey it's fine, don't worry about it." She responded. You looked at her, and you recognized her as being Dixie Grim. She had recently gained popularity, but you were unsure why.

"Whats your first period?" You ask, noticing she was walking beside you. "Oh, math." She responded. "With Mrs Smith?" You ask. (Fake name) "Yeah! Are you in her class?" She went on. "Mhm. Wanna walk to class together?" You ask. She agreed and you two went on your way.

You had never been a chatty person, but Dixie seemed really nice and open. You could see why she gained popularity. As you got to your classroom, you two sat together. You continued talking, and didn't notice the teacher starting class. She began teachering her boring lesson, but you tuned her out.

"Y/N, Dixie. Do we have a problem?" She asked. You both look up. "No ma'am! We're very sorry." She exclaimed. "Good." Mrs Smith said, and continued her lesson. After class was over, you took out your phone. You saw the video about Gonner, and thought that last night was just a dream. You showed Dixie the video.

"Look at what these dumbass's posted," You said as you showed her your phone "they actually think people are stupid enough to believe zombies exist." Her eyes widened "Gonner..?" She whispered. You nearly dropped your phone out of shock. "What?" You ask. "O-Oh.. sorry.. uh.. nothing." She stuttered. You felt awkward at the silence. "Well..I have to go to my next class."

You quickly walked away in a panic. Had it all been real? You thought you had only drempt of Gonner? How in the fuck did Dixie know about Gonner? Were they related or something? Did they know each other? You were so deep in thought you had completely missed your next class. You looked up and realized you had no idea where you were. "Damnit.." you mumbled.

Your bus dropped you back at home. You ran up to your room and threw your stuff down. You snatched your phone from your bag and looked at the video again. Gonner was real, and somehow Dixie knew about him. You threw your phone down and looked through the window. Your brother busted open the door "Hey Y/N, mom and dad said they won't be home tonight."

You sighed. "Oh course, they're never home." He looked sad. "Sorry about it. You wanna go somewhere, or play video games?" You smiled. "Sure." You went to his room and played video games for an hour. Not to brag but you were kinda beating him. (Get it man) "I think this is a good stopping point. I have to meet a friend." You said. "You have friends?" He laughed. You got up "Shut up (his/name)." You said. He laughed "Ok go meet up with your lost friends, dork."He snickered.

I put on my shoes and rushed out, down the stairs, and outside. I crossed the street quickly. I made my way down to the cemetery. I looked around, and I didn't see Gonner. I sighed and wondered if he really was just a dream. "Boo" you hear a familiar voice say. "JESUS FUCK-" You scream. He laughs, and his laugh is honestly really cute.

"Don't scare me that." You said trying to catch your breath. You felt your cheeks turn pink, but neither of you said anything about it. "I was beginnin' to think ye wearnt comin!" He said. You smiled "I wouldn't bail on you last minute." You replied. "I have a question to ask, Gonner." You said quietly.

"Hm? Ask away." He said. "So, do you know a girl named...Dixie..?" You ask softly. His smile faded and you panicked. "I-I mean you don't have to awnser my question! Its just- I mean I just wondered-" you fumbled looking for the right words. He put a finger over your mouth to shush you which made your heart skip a beat.

"Ye talk too much." He said. You shut up and just stared at him. He was very pretty, so it was nice. "Ah, me and Dixie..me hearty," He said in a sad tone "we were together once." You were shocked."You two were dating?" You ask. "Mhm. She was one of the only lassies I felt truly attached to." You nodded. "She left me and Isis for a mortal boy! That scallywag."

"Mhm. Wait- Who's Isis?" You ask. He stops. "Aye! Ye haven't met Icis?" You shook your head. He took your hand "Well what 'r we waitin for? Let's go!" and we set off. You two were wondering deeper into the forest. You were nervous so you asked "Do you really know your way around the forest? I don't want to be out here longer than I have to."

He turned around. "Don't be scared las I'm here, and I've been in this forest thousands of times, I know me way around!" He tightend his grip on your hand. As you wondered through the forest, you came across another graveyard. You noticed it was closer to your school, and maybe if Dixie knows these zombies, she'll be around.

"Here we are..ISIS!" He yelled. Suddenly, a dark figure with a cloak over their head stood up...
