In my home, across the eastern sea, the Lands of Reed.

For a thousand days, blood spilled across the land, between the clans of shogun, and our emperor.

Now, we eighty Samurai stand before the enemies of our lord, to delay their advance.

Today I will die with honor...

The one-eyed Samurai clad in red armor, shook the reign of his horse as he trot its way across the rank of horsemen. Then, he halts his horse when he reaches the vanguard, and stands beside the horned samurai clad in red armor, along with a coat that signifies that this man is a lord of the clan.

"Isshin-dono, our men are in position, and waiting for your command."

"We will face death....do you fear it?" the horned samurai sternly asks with his keen eyes watching over the horde of his adversaries just below the foot of the hill.

"No...Uncle." The one-eyed samurai answers with a nerve of steel, and puffs out his chest with courage. "Tonight we are fighting for the sake of our majesty, and our people...for what sacrifice is too great."

"Well, said Ryuzo-san..well, said." Isshin pats the shoulder of his young nephew, and flashes a proud grin on his lip. "Your father will be proud of you, tonight."

"I don't think so..but."

The one-eyed samurai replies bitterly as he wears his kabuto with a crescent horn. Protecting his red hair-man bun, and kept his right eye-patch cover under the shadow of his brim. Then, he takes his bandolier that carried six tanegashima pistols, and wraps it around his torso. At last, he takes his half mask that depicts a demon bearing his teeth, and lets it hug his face..hiding the burnt scar on his right cheek.

"I am sure you are...." Ryuzo declares with a smile behind his demon mask as he pulls out his Tanegashima (Arquebus) rifle.

"Heh.." The uncle could only smirk at his response. Making him feel truly proud of the courage of his nephew. Truly, a warrior who is worthy to take his place. Sadly, that day will not come for they are destined to die tonight, but maybe in the afterlife...

The horned samurai cast his worries aside for he has a battle to fight. So, he proudly draws his katana, and trots along the vanguard of his cavalry with his eyes gaze upon the enemies of his lord.

" Tradition...Courage...Honor...They are what make us...We are the warriors of our emperor." Isshin raises his blade, and shouts from the top of his lungs that reach the heaven ears. "WE ARE SAMURAI!"

"TENNO HEIKA!" Ryuzo shouts his war cry as he raises his proud fist in the air.

"BANZAI!"

"TENNO HEIKA!"

"BANZAI!"

The cavalry captain blew the trumpet as the eastern wind blew along the eighty samurai.

"TOTSUGEKI!"

Eighty Samurai descend from the hill...Eighty men charging towards the wall of hundreds spears...Eighty souls are destined to die, but they will not go down without a fight....they will take hundred souls with them before they depart...tonight, they will die with honor.

"UTE!"

*Blam* *Blam* *Blam* Blam*

A series of muzzle flashes among the front of the cavalry as the gunpowder clouded their rifle barrel, and the battlefield. While the frontline of their enemies cries in pain as the whistle of a bullet passes through their rank. Blasting off their broken spears, and flesh as the mist of blood splash across the air. Now, the front is disarray, and their spears are shattered.
