   You wake up to hear your mom screaming at you to wake up. "Give me 5 more minutes, Ma!" You said, turning over and burying your face in your pillow. "No! Get your ass up out of bed or you're making your own damn breakfast."

   "Mom, you know damn well I've been making my own breakfast for the past year. Maybe if you'd take your fucking meds, you'd remember." "Don't you fucking talk to me like that, you fucking brat." Your mom said to you. "You know what, that's it-"

   "Hey." Your little sister said, rubbing her eyes. "Hey, Chloe. What're you doing up this early?" "Mommy told me you were waking up early to go to school and that's why I don't see you in the mornings. I wanted to see you."

   You picked Chloe up. "I missed seeing you in the morning. Do you want pancakes?" Chloe nodded her head as you set her down.

   You made Chloe some pancakes for breakfast. "Are you gonna eat some?" Chloe said, wiping syrup from her face. "Nah, I'm just gonna eat some fruit." You grabbed a banana and your bag. "Bye, Chloe." You patted her head as you walked out of the trailer.

   As you looked around you noticed a guy you hadn't seen before. You saw him talking to Future. "Hey, what's up, Rabbit?" You overheard them. "Glad to have you back." Future looked over at you and noticed you were walking to the bus stop.

   "Aye, Y/S/N!" He yelled out to you. "What's up, Future?" "You needa ride?" "Yeah, sorta. My mom gave me this shitty ass car that won't even start so I been takin the bus." You said, walking up to them. "Who's this?" 'Rabbit' said.

   "This is Y/S/N." "What's up? I'm B Rabbit, you can just call me Rabbit though." You looked him up and down. "Nice to meet you, Rabbit." "You too." "So, Rabbit, you coming?" Future said.

   "Comin' where?" He said. "I'm giving Y/S/N a ride to school, you comin' or nah?" "I'll come." He looked at you and gave a slight smile. You walked over to Future's car and got in the back. Rabbit sat down next to you.

   Future got in and started up the car. "So, are you that girl from the shelter? Y/S/N sounds familiar." "Nah, you must got me mixed up with someone else." Future looked at you from the rearview mirror. "I only ever seen one other girl there and it definitely ain't you." Rabbit said. "Alright. You caught me."

   "I knew it. You really know how to rap. I don't know anything about you though other than I saw you at the shelter one time." "Oh, really?" You said, raising one eyebrow. "Yeah." He jabbed you in the arm a little. "Hey!"

   "Y'all sound like you're getting along back there." "Aye, don't make it weird." You said, looking out the window. You felt his hand on top of yours. You moved your hand away. "Oh, I'm sor-" You put your hand back down on the seat. "Sorry, sudden movements freak me out."

  "Aight, we here." Future said. You got out of the car and waved bye to Rabbit. He waved back. "You like her, don't you?" "Nah." Rabbit said.

**Time Skip**

   You waited at the pick up/drop off zone for Future to pick you up. It had already been 15 minutes. You called him. He finally picked up. "Future, where the fuck you at, man?" "I'm almost there, I'm stuck in traffic." "Aight." "See you in 5." You hung up the phone.

   You secretly hoped Rabbit had decided to come along. You called up Y/BF/N. "Hey." "What's up, Y/N?" "Just wanted to update you on something. I met someone." "Oooo, is he cute?" "Kinda sorta." You said. "Girl, ask him out." Y/BF/N said. "We just met today, relax." "Whatever, you're boring." "Anyway, my ride is here. Also, don't call me girl again." You hung up. Future pulled up and you looked in the window. You saw Rabbit looking down at his lap.

   You opened the car door. You see Rabbit look up at you. "Hey, what's up?" You said to him. "Nothin' much." He said to you. "Aye, Future. Can we stop by Y/F/FFR? I don't really wanna go home." "Aight, bet." Rabbit looked at you. "You know that place too?"

   "Yeah, it's my favorite. My mom used to take me there all the time as a little kid. Now she barely cares if we eat or not." You said, you looking down at your thumbs. "What do you mean by 'we'?" Rabbit said. "Oh, I got a little sister. She's only 6. I been cooking for her here recently. My mom won't take her fucking meds so she's either in bed all day drunk or screaming at me."

   "Anyway, we're here." Future said. "Aight." You said getting out of the car. Rabbit followed. "Do you care if I leave y'all here for a bit? I got some shit I needa do. And plus, y'all know how to get to the trailer park from here, right?"

   "Yeah, we're good." You said, turning your head to look at Rabbit. He nodded. "Aight, see y'all later." Future drove off. You and Rabbit looked at each other before you tapped your pocket to make sure your stuff was still in there. You two walked into the restaurant.

   You walked up to the counter and ordered. "Yeah, can I get one cheeseburger and a medium coke?" "Sure, anything else?" Rabbit stepped up. "Can I get chili cheese fries?" "Of course. And what size?" The lady said. "Medium, please." "Anything else?" You spoke up. "One small french fry, please." "Alright, your total is 16.85"

   "I'll pay." You started to pull out your wallet. "Nah, I'm paying." Rabbit said, looking at you. "Rabbit, I'm serious. I'll pay." He pulled your wallet out of your hand lightly. "You can't pay if you ain't got no wallet." He put it in his pocket and paid for your guys' meals.

   The lady handed you your ticket with your number on it. You guys walked over and sat down. Rabbit handed you your wallet back.

   "You know my real name ain't Rabbit, right?" "Yeah, I ain't stupid. My name ain't Y/S/N either." "Go figure." Rabbit said looking at you.
