I kept staring at the clock this whole entire time, for some reason classes have been so long today, especially this class.

''Epithelial tissue is found on the internal and external surface of body organs. Internal epithelium is called endothelium. The specific location in the body depends on the function of the type of epithelium, blah blah blah''

I could see the teacher's mouth move but couldn't process anything, I laid my head on my arms dozing. Hearing my stomach grumble all I could think about was food,oh how I could eat my mom's cassava leaves and deep fried fish. Sitting up straight,I sighed, if my mom was still alive ,she wouldn't want to see me starve.I felt my tears threatening to fall down but I forced them back, sometimes I missed my mom.

''Miss Miranda can you please give us the name of the three structures of the Epithelial tissues please ''I hear the teacher ask taking me out of my daze

''Huh'' I asked getting back to reality
''The answer please Miss ''asked Mr Weso,looking quite irritated.

''Um yes sir ''I stuttered, I could hear snickers at my  back ''The Epithelial tissues three structures are Cuboidal epithelium, Columnar epithelium and squamous epithelium. ''I answered

''Very good.''complimented  Mr Weso looking quite impressed

''Can you differentiate between them three?''

Shit ,I didn't study that

Ring ring ring

I blew out a sigh of relief ,saved by the bell.I stood up to pack my things, students were already leaving the classroom.

''Don't forget to read chapter 76 till 80 on the animal and plant tissues, I will be asking you their structures and functions  tomorrow ,so make sure you study ''Mr Weso shouted back at us, ''Yes sir '' we all shouted back.

I never knew biology would be this boring its a good thing I studied a bit last night.

After putting my books away I started heading towards the cafeteria, I was starving.

After getting my lunch which was PBJ with soup,
I spotted my friends at our usual table
''Hey guys '' I greeted them once I reached them
''Hey'' ,''sup'' they both greeted back.
''Can you believe the nerve of Mrs Dawn ,she wants us to write a 3 page essay on the slave revolutions.''Sarah complained, ''Woah that's rough well good luck with that .''replied Thurston munching on his sandwich.

Not paying attention to what they were talking about,I  sat down next to Thurston, and started chewing on my lunch, I didn't notice that I was eating fast because in just a second the food was gone and not a crumb or drip was seen in sight and I was still hungry.

'' Sjo, you really must have been very esurient'' Thurston stated.''She hasn't eaten since yesterday'' Sara replied her mouth full of French fries.

''What,and that's all you eating?here you can have my food ''offered Thurston handing me his tray,''No ,no I am good you can have your lunch. ''I said pushing his tray  back. ''
Come on baby I know you want it ''he pushed it back to me ,''Besides you know my mom always packs me extra snack ''he said leaning back on his chair. I sigh a bit loud ''Thurston I don't want your pityness ''I said folding my arm together.''If you don't want it throw it  away ''he suggested.Thurston knows that I would never throw food away.

Grabbing a Sandwich I took a huge bite there is no way I was going to waist food .After the sandwich touched my tongue I grabbed the nearest water bottle, gulping all the water down

How could he eat this sandwich calmly it's so spicy .
''Are you okay ?'' He asked calmly, ''Man how can you eat this it's so spicy my mouth is burning.''I gasped He rolled his eyes ''Mami it ain't that spicy '' ''What!!if this ain't spicy then I don't wanna what spice is.''I said eating it as slowly as I can while gulping water  .
Thurston chuckled softly ''My mom's Family loves eating spicy foods ,they love eating Chiapas chiles, my dad doesn't like spicy food so much either but it's my mom,he can't refuse her food you know, me being born in the Family I got used to it since since birth I am Mexican after all you know.'' ''That makes sense''I replied successfully finishing the sandwiches.

Unlike Sarah, Thurston didn't know about my aunts harsh treatment ,I knew if I told him he would have done some irrationally, and I had to make Sarah swear her life on it that she wouldn't tell him or anyone else. So far she have been doing a good job. Knowing Thurston if he ever got to know of my misery he would either lose his cool get me out and set the house on fire or call the police on my family,which I refuse to happen.He's very protective person.Sarah and him were best friends ever since I arrived.

Sarah grabbed an apple that was on Thurston-my tray and started munching on it.
''BTS will be perform in India soon''

''BTS sucks you know that''

''Say that again I dare you! '' Sara growled shooting  daggers. ''I mean there song is shit they make you believe that  the world is all cupcakes and rainbows when it ain't, Xxx ,Michael. J and Juicewrld are real artists.

''  Michael Jackson is dead get over yourself and when he was alive he raped girls and boys ,you don't see BTS doing those shit.Triple x was fucked up,also you wanna support a guy who abused his pregnant girlfriend?''

''Yo you guys talking about BTS ,damn those guys are gay. ''A boy passing by said sitting next to Sarah

''Who says they are gay?''asked Sarah
''Why don't they have girlfriends? It's because they are gay.'' The boy answered.  ''That makes no sense, even if they were gay I would still support them ,what's it's to you? Sara asked
''But they are celebrities ,man they are supposed to have girlfriends.''he answered
''Boy look they are celebrities and singles but a bunch of girls chase after them every day ,I don't see anyone chasing after you and you are single. ''

I smiled shaking my head as I watch Sarah and the boy banter over BTS .Sarah would go all out to fight for those 7 Korean men.
