Pulling back the slide of the automatic handgun "you can't do this"

She leveled the gun straight at me

I hear the trigger pull and the bright flash from the muzzle in the unlit room

Looking down I found myself covered in blood

I couldn't stop screaming even after realizing it was a dream
After shaking me awake,
Dante snatched me to his chest one hand wrapped around my back and the other pressing my head next to his beating heart

Soon I calmed down as my breathing got back to normal
I looked into his eyes "I am sorry i didn't realize sooner "

"Lay with me," I said in a hushed whisper
He lays beside me while I caressed his chest "I love you"
"Are you sure you are not acting today cause from what I know my girl is quite a good actor "he jokes
my eyes watered staring into his blue orbs
"I love you" I whisper as I peck his lips
"say it again" his voice is rough on the edge just like his soul
"I love you so much" I kiss all over his face
his lips curve into a grin as he pulls me in for a kiss
Tears fell from my eyes as his warm lips pressed against mine
His touch sets my heart on fire
all the turmoil in my head ceases to exist
he fills my whole being with love making my heart sing
A love that heals everything
