Chapter 5

(Jungkook)

During the awkward interaction he had with Namjoon, he asked if he wanted to go and find a spot to look at the stars. To his luck, Namjoon said yes.

Jungkook was going to tell Hoseok where he was going, but he was caught up talking with Taehyung. Jungkook knew him from high school in art class. He had a crush on him during high school, even though they weren't in the same grade.

Namjoon and Jungkook were laying in the grass, looking up at the clear starry sky. It asdwas beautiful. They weren't talking, just enjoying each other's company.

Jungkook turned his head to look at Namjoon.

"I know you're staring at me Jungkook" Namjoon suddenly speaking startled him, and he quickly looked away, heat flooding his face.

"S-sorry" Jungkook couldn't help it, he glanced back at Namjoon again and saw he was looking at him this time. His heart skipped a beat and he looked back up at the sky.

He was normally good at talking with someone he has a crush on, but Namjoon was different. He kissed him even. And now his heart won't stop racing when he sees him.

"Hey Jungkook?" Namjoon asked after a minute. Jungkook hummed a response.

"I didn't make things awkward between us did I? I feel like I did..I'm sorry" Jungkook felt bad that's how he made it seem. But he couldn't help himself. He might die if he keeps making eye contact.

"Don't apologize. It's just..I've had a crush on you for..a while now and after you kissed me, I haven't been able to hide it as well" Jungkook didn't dare look at Namjoon. He could've sworn he felt his heart actually stop when he felt a hand on his.

He finally looked away from the sky and looked at his hand, seeing that Namjoon had grabbed it.

He looked up at him and couldn't hold back a smile when he saw how adorable he looked.

"I'm glad to hear that because I feel the same way" Namjoon admitted. Jungkook decided he'd be okay getting close and cuddles with Namjoon after that.

He didn't say anything as he scooted his body closer to Namjoon, moving until they were against each other.

Namjoon let go of Jungkook's hand and wrapped his arms around Jungkook. One arm around his shoulders while the other one was behind his head, holding him protectively.

Jungkook sighed happily, closing his eyes and relaxing completely. He wasn't completely sure what made him fall for his professor, but all he knows is he's glad he did.

"Jungkook, we can't tell people about this unless we know 100% they aren't going to tell anybody," Namjoon began.

"It may not be illegal age wise cuz you're 20, but I could still get fired from my job" Jungkook tensed at the thought of Namjoon getting fired from the job he loves because of him.

"I won't, don't worry" he said, more of trying to convince himself not to worry more than he was Namjoon.

Namjoon started playing with Jungkook's hair, making him sleepy. He scooted closer, making their bodies press against each other even more.

"You're a clingy one aren't you?" Namjoon teased. Jungkook giggled and just nodded. "Only with you" he said as he burried his head into Namjoon's chest. He's never felt happier.

"We should start heading back now. It's getting late" Namjoon told him after a while.

"But I'm comfy" Jungkook said with protest.

"Yeah well you'll be even more comfy in your bed, now let's go"

A/n: I know so surprising, I didn't die. Don't trust me if I say I'm gonna try and update a lot more. I do want to say, HAVE Y'ALL SEEN KIM TAEHYUNG IN PERSON? I JUST WENT TO THEIR CONCERT IN LAS VEGAS FOR DAY 3 AND AHHH-YOONGI THOUGH-I lost my voice screaming over that man 😩 BTS concert, 10/10 would totally recommend. My mom doesn't like them very much and even she said it was the most entertaining concert she's been too.

Okay enough rambling, just so I can speed things up, yoongi and Hoseok have known each other since high school and always thought they hated each other, but yoongi developed a crush on Hoseok like... we'll say two months before the story takes place. Hoseok has started to get confused like two weeks before the story takes place. They both just ignore it.

Namjoon and Jungkook were just a favorite teacher and favorite student thing but Jungkook fell for Namjoon and Namjoon admired Jungkook so those two have always been close which is why Namjoon is okay with Jungkook calling him by his name instead of Professor Kim
