Jaemin was used to being alone.
All of his friends got their other half.
But there he was, all alone.
He just wanted someone to hold hands with, someone to hug, someone to care for.
He thought he would never get someone like that.

"𝗍𝖾𝗅𝗅 𝗈𝗎𝗋 𝗉𝖺𝗋𝖾𝗇𝗍𝗌?"

"Should we tell our parents?" Jaemin asked, walking hand in hand with Jeno.
It has been officially one week of he and Jeno being together, and he already wanted to tell his mother.
She had always been there for him, so this was something he would love to tell her.
"If you want, I won't stop you" Jeno smiled.
"Wanna come over at mine then? I think I need you by my side if I tell her" the pink haired eyes shined with hope.
"Of course I'll come Minmin" Jeno chuckled, jokingly pushing Jaemin with his shoulder.
The walk to jaemins house was very short, as they arrived in less than 7 minutes.
The younger took his keys out, unlocking the door. He let Jeno enter first, following right after.
"Hi mom, I brought jeno!" Jaemin called, searching for his mom.
Just right after, dayoung peeked her head into the living room.
"Oh hi Jeno! How are you? It's such a coincidence that you're already here" she gave Jaemin a kiss on the cheek, then asking Jeno if she could give him a hug.
"What do you mean a coincidence?" Jaemin tilted his head.
"I just spoke to jeno's mom and they are actually coming over for dinner. So it's perfect that you're already here!" Dayoung smiled, telling them that she had go back to cooking.
"Can we help?" Jeno offered, the younger agreeing.
"Sure! If you'd like you can cut those vegetables, nana you can maybe bake a cake?" she instructed, as the two boys started to work.
They did some small talk here and there, but Jaemin still didn't mention anything about the two of them.
Maybe he was waiting for everyone to be here?
Once Dayoung had told them that they had finished, the two boys washed their hands, going upstairs to jaemins room.
"I'm nervous. Even more now if your parents are also gonna be here" Jaemin said, throwing himself on the bed, landing in a star position.
Jeno took advantage of the situation, laying himself on top of Jaemin.
"At least we're doing it together, alright? I'm here if you need me. Also, if you last minute want to get out of the situation, I'll help you" the older reassured, tickling his lovers stomach.
The pink haired didn't respond, he just snuggled against jeno's neck.
"Boys! Dinner's ready!!!" Dayoung shouted, calling the boys to come downstairs.
"Hi mom, hi dad" Jeno greeted his parents, hugging both of them before everyone sat down at the table.
Dinner went normally, everyone talking comfortably with each other.
Once they were at their last dish, Jaemin spoke up.
"Uhm- I have- no actually we- have something to tell" He cleared his throat, reaching for jeno's hand under the table.
The older could sense how nervous his lover was, softly stroking his hands to calm him down.
Jaemin had successfully gained their attention, but he couldn't get any word out. They were practically stuck in his throat.
He looked over to Jeno for help, his eyes screaming 'you tell them'
And so, Jeno did.
"Me and Jaemin are dating" he didn't hesitate, watching as his boyfriend shut his eyes.
"Finally! Oh my god, im-" Dayoung cried, hugging her best friend that was just in the same state as her.
"I was- waiting for this"
"Congratulations boys" Mrs. Lee chuckled, caressing his wife's shoulder.
"Remember- when we planned out to have our children dating each other? But then we had both boys and we thought it wouldn't be able too? But then we realized they can date each other too?" Eunha ranted, standing up to kiss her son on the cheek, doing the same to jaemin right after.
"I'm so happy for you guys" they ended up celebrating, Mr. Na taking out some champagne.
The reactions of their parents had shocked them, but they couldn't be happier with the outcome.
