When the phone rang, it was dead silent. Then as realization hit, it was madness. Everyone exploded.
"Lee get the phone!" Nick shouted.
"I got it last time!" Lee argued.
"Well-", Grayson started.
"Grayson, shut up!" Everybody yelled at the same time. Grayson pushed his glasses farther up his nose. He looked down at his Sunkist, sulking.
"Guys, guys, I'll get it. Now quiet, please." Jones said calmly, making the 'quiet down' motion with his hands. He pushed Lee off him as he stood up. As Jonah picked up the receiver of his mom's old house phone, everybody whispered in excitement. "Guys?" Jones's face turned white with fear. "Um, you guys should come listen to this." As everybody walked slowly, hesitantly towards Jones, there was a manic laugh on the other end. As they got closer, you could hear the message clearly.
