My body felt like fire. I felt like I was burning from the inside out. W-what's going on? My thoughts were all over the place, but one thing was clear I needed to know why the counsel wanted me here. What was the purpose? Did I break a rule? If so, what rule? Slowly my eyes opened to see a wooden ceiling I wanted to sit up, but my body didn't want to let me. I did anyway. Propping myself up against the headrest of the bed I saw the rest of the room. My vision was still blurry, but that was okay. Slowly it cleared up the more I looked around. I saw him. Sebastian Stinton. He was laying asleep next to the bed. His head was resting on the edge of the bed as he was slumped forward in the chair. I played with his hair. It was soft, and fluffy. It's dark colour looked beautiful when the sunlight hit it. His hair was somewhat thin, but thick as the same time. Like it was in between. I guess playing with his hair had woken him up.
"You finally woke up?" He spoke softly while moving his head to look at me.
"H-how long had I been asleep?" My throat felt dry, but it was fine. He got up from his chair, stretched, and went to a different room for a second then came back with a glass of water.
"Here. Honestly you've been out for, I think, four days? Maybe?" He looked down at his hands like he was trying to remember. "Do you...Nevermind."
"Were you sleeping here the whole time? Why are you here?" I had more questions to ask, but decided not to ask.
"Oh uhhh...yeah I slept here by your side the whole time...B-BUT I DIDN"T DO ANYTHING!!!" His face turned bright red as he shook his hands like a child trying to get out of trouble. "I-Aaahhhh-I'm sorry.."
I couldn't help, but laugh at him. Letting out a belly laugh I grabbed his hand. He looked at me confused, and tried to pull his hand away. He gave me that cold icy glare again.
"I-I'm sorry" I tried to calm down from laughing. "You just looked so adorable just now. You looked like a child trying to get out of trouble." I saw his face turn an even brighter red as I told him he looked adorable. "Hopefully my snoring didn't bug you haha" I laughed nervously.
"It's a-alright there Ariealla d-don't worry about it..." His face seemed to calm down, but something was still wrong.
The door opened in came Theodore. He gave a slight bow before asking if I was alright enough to stand up, and walk. I moved the blankets, slowly I tried to get up from the bed. My whole body still felt weak, but I pushed myself to get up. I felt an arm wrap around my waist. I looked to my left and it was Sebastian. His hand was warm, and he gently tried to help me without hurting me. Theo saw that I still wasn't able to properly stand without his help, but that was fine. Theo turned around, and walked away. As we followed behind him it was eerily quiet. We were led to a giant round room. The two large handmade oak doors stood closed, and on the other side I could here people talking. They seemed to be having an argument of some kind. An argument over what though? I had no clue.
Theodore opened the large oak doors, and suddenly the whole room went quiet. Everyone on either side of the room seemed to turn towards us. Their faces looked like they were disappointed adults. I was scared to even face them so I stared at the floor. Some whispers seem to spread across the room. The room was a large circle, banners lined ever column, and there was a giant fire right in the center of it. I felt their piercing stares as we crossed to meet the main counsel men or rather women. There were mixed genders, races, etc in here. It was like a different world in here. Like all the people of the world got together to finally create world peace. There were six main counsel people. Only three of them I knew personally. Most of the people in here were wearing cloaks to cover their faces. I felt Sebastian's hand tighten on my waist. Is he scared right now? I was curious to know why, but didn't ask him.
