NOT WRITTEN ON WATTPAD
Title: The Geography of You and Me
Author: Jennifer E. Smith
Published Book
Lucy lives on the twenty-fourth floor. Owen lives in the basement. It's fitting, then, that they meet in the middle — stuck between two floors of a New York City apartment building, on an elevator rendered useless by a citywide blackout. After they're rescued, Lucy and Owen spend the night wandering the darkened streets and marveling at the rare appearance of stars above Manhattan. But once the power is back, so is reality. Lucy soon moves abroad with her parents, while Owen heads out west with his father.
The brief time they spend together leaves a mark. And as their lives take them to Edinburgh and to San Francisco, to Prague and to Portland, Lucy and Owen stay in touch through postcards, occasional e-mails, and phone calls. But can they — despite the odds — find a way to reunite?
So, I've decided that every two or three Wattpad books I'm going to put a published book on here! My second book, Next to T5SoAB is this one. I recently bought this on my new nook that I got for Easter and it completely lived up to the expectation of brilliancy from her other books. Like, "The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight" and "This Is What Happy Look Like" and I'm totally looking forward to next book "Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between". This story brought tears to my eyes. Well, not really but it was close to. There are different parts of the story where one part is titled "somewhere" or "Home" and it's just great. I especially loved how she created her characters and everyone around. Like, why they're doing this or everything else. The story goes back and forth between Owen and Lucy's perspectives. In 3rd person, of course. And it's really easy to keep track of everyone and everything that's happening. If you ever come across this book I seriously suggest that you pick it up because this stupid smiling I've had on my face reading this story still hasn't lifted. haha :D xx
Rating: 10/5 stars. Just because writing was fvcking brilliant. Plus, all the quotes they say in the book are just flawless.
