Love, Music, And Second Chances

(The chapter will be switching between ariana and Kai until they meet and when they are apart after that)

Kai had always loved that her house was on the county side of LA. It reminded her of her home state of Texas. Sipping her tea, kai sighed softly as she watched the sun to start to rise. Looking back at her bed she wondered where her girlfriend of 10 years was at seeing that she didn't come home again last night.

"Hmm. Wonder where she is." Kai mumbled to herself as she walked out of her room and down the stairs to feed her dogs. After feeding her dogs, Kai  went to make a hearty breakfast consisted of eggs, Bacon, sausage, hash browns,and a few biscuits. Deciding to grow a pair, kai grabbed her phone and called her girlfriend.

"Hey baby!" Trinity said as her voice sounded sore.

"Hey babe. Where are you? You didn't come home last night" kai said in a soft tone as she ate her breakfast.

"Oh I stayed at my friends house lastnight. Everyone drank to much and nobody wanted to drive home so I stayed here like everyone else" she said as shuffling as heard in the background indicting someone was near her.

"Oh okay. Will you be home later?" Kai said as she took a sip of tea from her cup.

"Sorry baby I forgot about our dinner when I planned a girls day with my besties" she said with a fake sad tone.

"Okay. Well let me know when you come home then I guess" kai said with a sad tone.

"Okay! Love you" trinity as she hung up before kai could say it back.

*meanwhile*

Feeling the sun to start to shine on her eyes, ariana woke up to dalton not in the bed seeing his side neatly made as if he didnt come home last night. Letting out a sigh she got up and walked to her bathroom to do her morning routine before heading to her kitchen. Once there she got the ingredients to make a healthy vegan breakfast. Hearing her Phone go off, she picked it up to see her friends group blowing up.

Court: hey bitches! Happy Valentine's day!

Vicky: shut up! It isn't even 7am yet and your already hyped up.

Court: come on vicky its the day of love!

Ari:your to hyper chipolone

Court:hello to you too! Something tells me dalton didn't come home again last night?

It was obvious from Ariana's mood. This wasn't the first time he didn't come home this has actually happened several times for the the last  year but recently its gotten more frequent in the last 3 months.

Ariana:mhm this time he didn't even give me an excuse.

Vicky:why haven't you left him yet then?

Ari: because I love him and I already have a failed engagement along with failed relationships. I know he loves me he's just busy a lot.

Court: girl! Its valentines day and he's not there to makes you breakfast in bed, it drawing you a hot bath, or making sweet, hot, passionate love with you!

Ari: again I love him

Frank-frank:what's going on?

Court: dalton didn't come home last night

Frank-frank: oh that douchebag! doesnt he know its valentines day?!

Vicky:clearly not

Exiting her messenger app she clicked on her contacts and Scrolled until she saw Dalton's number the she would click on it.
