Heels clicking through the hallway; accompanied by long and slender legs, a beautiful and long sleeved ivory dress adorned on the already inexplicably beautiful woman. Bare shoulders exposed to the world, covered only by a sheer veil of fabric. Black tresses caressing the angel, bouncing with her every step. Her brown eyes keeping forward despite the others that are stopped and talking amongst themselves. A stone facial expressing denying anyone who saw her the pleasure of seeing her heart melting smile.
Everyone knew who the blank faced goddess was. Bae Joohyun, better known as Irene of Red Velvet. A visual who caused whiplash. When you see her once, you had to see her again. Almost as if she descended from the heavens just to please the mere mortals who walked the earth.
However, this woman had one mission and one mission only, feed her children. Her group members and herself decided to settle who would get the food and drinks by a nice game of rock paper scissors, however she immediately lost. If anyone were to ask her, they all cheated. Every single one of them conspired against her. Absolutely ungrateful.
Despite her inner turmoil, she was well aware she was being silly. That didn't stop her from indulging in her craziness. After all, how else could she have lost? It's not like this was the third time she went paper and lost.
Her eyes roamed up and saw she needed to make her turn around the corner to get to catering. She just needed to grab some snacks, and maybe some water for her daughters if she felt merciful. Turning the corner, she felt herself hit a hard body and her body was sent going backwards. Quickly her eyes closed and she yelped, scared and even more so to hit the floor.
She waited a couple of seconds and felt nothing. At least nothing that felt like a cold, hard floor. Her eyes fluttered open and her already trembling heart started to soar. There was a man who looked as if he was designed by God himself. Chiseled, muscles visible through his tight black shirt, black skin tight pants daring to rip at the bulge of his thigh muscles. A jaw line that could cut glass itself, his plump lips that were almost pouting. Brown hair parted in the middle, almost daring to expose the rest of his forehead. Her eyes traveled everywhere on his gorgeous face, taking in the eyebrow and lip piercings as if it was a nice desert.
But she couldn't even choose her favorite part, was it the strong and muscular arm that was around her small waist? Or perhaps it was the brown, almost doe like eyes, that shone with concern for her well-being? Irene couldn't help but choose both. She could feel the heat in her cheeks, hoping her blush wasn't too noticeable. Embarrassment rose through her, he heard and saw her get scared. Not only that, he was even keeping her from falling.
"Noona, are you okay?" he whispered in a velvety tone, making her almost tremble. Noona sounded so good when it came from those lips. How could she tell her sunbae that she needed to let her go when her heart said otherwise?
Of course she knew who he was. How couldn't she? After all he was only known all around the world as the golden maknae of Bangtan Sonyeondan. Jeon Jungkook. Not trusting her voice, all she could do is nod. Her body felt a sense of loss when he stood her back up and his arm was no longer holding her.
'Where is this coming from?' she pondered as her heart continued to yearn for his warmth. She hadn't felt this way before, certainly not as an idol either. Before she could continue to question her own actions, or perhaps inaction, her eyes caught his lips moving once more.
"I'm incredibly sorry noona, I didn't mean to bump into you." his voice sounded regretful, almost downtrodden. A frown marring his face, no longer the bunny smile she had accustomed to him. It was the type of frown that you just wanted to hug away, tell him it's okay and just make his world better.
Irene knew she couldn't keep silent, not when he looked like that. She bowed before apologizing, "It's okay sunbae, it's my fault for not watching where I was going."
