I'm running as hard as I can right now. Leaves and branches lash at my face and clothes, as the rain pours down. I can hear the sounds of animalistic growls closing in with each second.
With my heart beating wildly in my chest, I throw myself forward in a hopeless attempt to outrun the monster chasing me. Suddenly, I find myself face-first in the mud.
I hear the monster slowly make its way toward me. Suddenly I am flipped on my back, laying down facing up.
The monster slowly comes into view but... It's not a wolf anymore, it's a man. His deep silver eyes stare into mine, while rain pours all around us. I took a second to take him and his 6'4 frame, with a tan and strong, muscular body in. His brown hair slicked back in the rain allowed me a better view of his strong jaw and high cheekbones.
"What are you doing trespassing on my property(sniff sniff)... human?" the man says with a growl.
"Wher–Where is the wolf that was chasing me?" I said, my voice trembling with fear.
He regarded me with a peculiar look in his eye, "You don't know?"
"Know what?" I replied, confusion overtaking my fear of the strange, mysterious man.
He laughs with amusement and with a mischievous look in his eye, he bends down and transforms into the biggest wolf I have ever seen.
"Why is my life like this" I manage to say, shaking before the world goes dark.
