"Okay I'm finished" I stepped away from my sister and let her admire herself for a second, it wasn't everyday you got married to the love of your life and she looked gorgeous. "you look like a princess" I told her "really" she asked "yea you do" my voice started cracking and the tears pooled at the tip of my eyes ready to come out
"You better not cry, Hallie I swear to God" I stand up quickly going back to my makeup bag grabbing a tissue

I start pack up while waiting for Hallie to calm down a little so we can go down stairs.
"Okay I'm ready to get married" I glanced at my sister zipping up my makeup bag " OK then let's go" my sister links her arms to mine and we walk into the elevator.
I press the first floor and watch as the door closes thinking about how my sisters getting married and how I wish my parents were here to see this, that our dad could walk her down the isle but I was pulled out of my thoughts when a the sound of j.coles can't get enough filled the elevator I reach down my clutch grabbing my phone to see who was calling me
" what do you want" now the mood was really ruined " you know there's a panicking groom wondering where his bride is Dolly"
I rolled my eyes, Julian is such a bitch " tell the groom since he and his wife wanted to play hide n seek with the maid and honor it's gonna take a while for them to get there"
I hung up the phone not bothering to wait for a response "what was that about"
Halie asked "your husband, freaking out" Halie turned her head to me, her calm expression gone replaced by a frightened one.
" he was freaking out because he you weren't here yet" I told her to calm her down, It worked.
"Oh okay" Halie went back to looking ahead and we stayed silent for the rest of the elevator ride.
After we got out of the elevator we went straight to the hotels entrance were the limo was waiting "OK oh my God, I'm getting married"
God please not now " it just hit the you're getting married, right now not when we're planning it"
halie looks at my with a blank face before getting in the limo
"this is serious Dalia, what if me and Julian don't last or he decides he want someone new and leaves me" halie looks down fidgeting with her fingers
"halie trust me you're fine Julian looks at you the way dad looked at and mom and you look at him the way mom did to dad" Halie looks up from her hands "really" she asked in a small voice "yes now don't cry you'll ruin your makeup" as I say that we pull up to the wedding place.
"OK now come you have to get married" I get out of the car and start helping Halie out of the car and as she's stepping out I noticed something.
"halie, where are your shoes" She looks at me confused before looking down noticing her bare feet
