"Pinky promise you won't forget me." He said sticking out his pinky. I linked our pinkys together.
"I pinky promise." I said. He smiled. He had a missing tooth. I hugged him.
"I love you Madison." I said with a tear streaming down my face.
"I love you too." He said. He had tears streaming down his face. I smiled and wiped up some of his tears.
"Demi, it's time to leave." My mommy called. I looked at her.
"Bye... I'll miss you! Besties forever!" I called to him as my mommy carried me to my car.
"Besties forever!" He shouted back still sitting on the grass of his front lawn, and with that my mommy buckled me in my car seat and drove away.
I still remember this like it was yesterday. But in reality it was 6 years ago. I'm 13 now. Going back to New Jersey is going to be a huge difference then living in California. But I've done it before. I can do it again. As you see I moved away. Well I kinda had to.... see my mom she had a job here in Jersey, but they offered a better one in Cali. She would make more money, so she didn't want to miss the opportunity. Now my mom has an even better job here in Jersey, and she finally decided she is staying.
"Here we are!" My mom said parking the car. Back to the old house. I walked in smiling. 6 years and it still feels the same.
"Can I go out?" I asked.
"Yes hun!" She said, "Be back by 8" I smiled and walked right back out the door. I walked down the sidewalk. I pasted a very familiar house. I was very curious, so I walked up to the front door. I knocked on the door. A young boy who looked about my age answered the door. He looked at me, and his jaw dropped.
"Demi!" He exclaimed. I was still confused. But then it hit me.
"Madi!" I screamed and I talked him in a bear hug. I pressed my lips onto his as he spun me around.
"I missed you!" I exclaimed.
"I missed you too baby!" He exclaimed. And with that I smiled and kissed him again, but this time it was more passionate.........
