CHAPTER FOUR:
harry's paranoia

    Harry sat at his office all day, reminiscing about that day. The day he is defeated by Natalie Rushman, (his ego was wounded) who is now Pepper Potts' assistant. He has no idea what Pepper was thinking when she hired her as her personal assistant. His day couldn't have gone much worse when he was called into a meeting with Pepper and other members, and Natalie was sitting in the corner, writing on a piece of paper while they listened to what was going on in the meeting.

    He hadn't been paying attention to what Pepper was saying and had instead been staring Natalie in the eyes. Despite the fact that he was aware that the woman had observed him, she chose to ignore him.

    He returned to his office after the meeting and stayed there for the rest of the day, refusing to let guests in. Since Liam returned, he's warned him that anybody wants to visit him, he'll have to tell them to go, no matter how essential they are.

"Harry, you don't have to send everyone away," Liam replied, massaging his eyes as he tried to keep his cool around his closest friend and his boss.

"I have to, Liam; if I allowed them in and listened to them, I might have snapped at them and shouted at them," Harry said, his back to Liam and looking out the window.

Liam is perplexed as to what happened while he was gone. He knew he'd never go because something horrible always seemed to happen to Harry while he was gone. It was due of this unpleasant redhead woman who Pepper Potts employed as an assistant, Harry explained. She appeared out of nowhere and flirted with him (which surprised him because Harry rarely flirts with women), after which he taught her martial arts and she beat Harry in the blink of an eye.

He's not going to deny that he's amused by how she defeated him. He even believed he was lying, but the look on his face proved otherwise. Pepper Potts' aide defeated Harrison Stark, all-time best martial artist.

"Oh, come on. You need to move on," Liam said, impatient because so many people had complained and wanted to meet him. "She beat you. You lost. What's the big deal? It's not like it's the end of the world."

"It's not the end of the world," Harry said, turning around and face his best friend. "It's the end of me! It's the end of Harry Stark!"

(His ego was wounded)

Liam rolls his eyes, "So dramatic for what?"

"You didn't see her!" Harry exclaimed as he stood up and put both hands on his hips. "She was taunting me! She kept smirking and giving me looks as if to say I was too weak. She's nuts!"
