"Young Volcanoes"

When Rome's in ruins

We are the lions

Free of the coliseum

In poisoned places

We are anti-venom

We're the beginning of the end

Tonight

The foxes hunt the hounds

It's all over now

Before it has begun

And we've already won

We are wild

We are like young volcanoes

We are wild

Americana exotica

Do you wanna feel a little beautiful baby? Yeah

Come on make it easy

Say I never mattered

Run it up the flagpole

We will teach you

How to make

Boys next door

Out of assholes

Tonight

The foxes hunt the hounds

It's all over now

Before it has begun

And we've already won

We are wild

We are like young volcanoes

We are wild

Americana exotica

Do you wanna feel a little beautiful baby? Yeah

We are wild

We are like young volcanoes

We are wild

Americana exotica

Do you wanna feel a little beautiful baby? Yeah

After the song, so first let's assume that this song is about some teenagers at a party? Makes since, since well young volcanoes are known to erupt randomly, and well, yeah. I don't want to really say it but, yeah i'm pretty sure its about some sort of, erm, sex. I mean maybe not, and I'm not putting THAT into a story so lets go.

I looked around, there had to be a hundred seniors here. At least 90% of them had to be drunk, or high, or whatever. I wasn't drunk, i mean, i had A beer, but i just wanted to seem cool. My friend Lily, had left me in the midst of the party, with seniors, i didnt know, and she had ran off to a bedroom with a damned, stupid, jock. (A/N: I lied sorry haha). I didnt even like the music they were playing, which seemed to be a very heavy rap. I also hated drinking the punch, which after one sip, I knew it was spiked with some sort of vodka. They didnt have anything else but alcohol, drugs, and more alcohol. Why was there so much freaking alcohol? Seriously why? How are they gonna get home? If I got drunk my parents would kill me, if i got high my parents would kill me, if i had sex, my parents would kill me. It pisses me off really. (A/N: see young volcanoes?)

I decide I'll just leave, I mean I should wait for Lily, but she's upstairs and i dont want to really walk in on that. I pull my keys out of my prurse and start walking out. A hand grabs my shoulder. I spin around and I see a somewhat nerdy guy, but not weirdly nerdy, like he's cool, and, do you understand?

"Yes?" I say.

"Ummm, well like, my older brother is upstairs, with a girl and I need a ride home." He said nervously, and he looked down at the floor.

"You can ride with me, if thats okay?" His head shot up and he looked me right in the eye.e.

"Yeah! Yeah, of course, i'd love to"

I showed him to my car and he rode shotgun and I drove.

"So, what grade are you in?"

"I'm a junior this year." I looked at him surprised, I'm a junior and i'd never seen him before.

"You're a junior? And you couldn't drive yourself home?" I asked in a not-so-nice tone. He looked away ashamed. "Sorry" I said after a minute or so.

"Its okay. I can drive, I just don't like going home alone." He said with a slight smile.

"Who said I was going home with you?" I asked with a bigger smile.

"No one." he said looking away.

"Listen, I don't know you're name."

"Calum"

And that was the night we burned the city.
