Jack's Compass

Summary: You ask Jack about his compass and if you could use it, but were you surprised about where it pointed?

It was another usual day on the ship. Your best friend Ragetti was on all fours chasing the monkey. "Me eye! Give it back!" He yelled, you rolled your eyes and chuckled at him.

You and Ragetti had been friends for a very long time now, and recently you've felt closer to him than usual. You didn't wanna admit that you loved him because you were scared he wouldn't feel the same way, but you also didn't even think you loved him.

Elizabeth, one of your other close friends, knew you loved him. She always teased you about it. She knew that one day she'd get you two together, and maybe today was the day?

"Hey y/n" Elizabeth greeted you as you made your way over to her.

"Hey Elizabeth" you smiled at her.

"So....... You gonna tell Ragetti?" She teased.

She never gets tired of this does she? "Tell Ragetti what?" You sighed and rolled your eyes.

She just laughed and shook her head. "You know what I'm talking about y/n, don't deny it"

"..Still don't know what you're talking about" you huffed

"Ok how about this, you get Jack's compass and if it points to Ragetti you love him and you can't say other wise" she told you

"..ok..." you hesitated because you knew you wouldn't be able to deny it after this.

You sigh as you walk over to Jack.
"Hey, uhm Jack.." you hesitate

"Yes y/n?"

"Uh, that compass.. it points to the thing y-you want most.. right? You stutter

Jack notices your nervousness and already knows what it's about.

"Yep, the exact thing you want" he smiled at you

"Ok.. can I use it?" You sigh becoming more nervous

"Of course, just give it back when you done" he winked

He walked away and you just looked at the compass, to scared to open it. You already knew where it was about to point. You were scared, you didn't want do admit that you loved Ragetti. You didn't want to get your feelings hurt because you knew he didn't love you the way you loved him.

You sighed as you slowly open the compass. You watch as it spins around until it finally comes to a stop. You reluctantly look to where it's pointing, and of course there stands Ragetti talking to Pintel.

     You slam the compass shut and look down. He's gonna eventually find out. You sighed and thought  to yourself.

     You made your way over to Jack again and gave his compass back.

     "Where'd it point?" He asked

     "Uhm.. no where, i-it wouldn't stop spinning.." you lied

     "Hmm, ok.." he saw straight through your lie, knowing exactly where it pointed.

     You walk away and sit down, thinking about what could happen if he found out. Would he end out friendship? Would he.. tell me he loves me to- no he wouldn't he don't love me. You sighed, putting your head in your hands. You didn't even notice Ragetti walk up to you.

     "Hey y/n, you alright?" He asked

     "Oh.. uh- yea I just, uhm I- I...." You stutter not knowing what to say, you really don't want him to find out.

     "It's ok, you can tell me when you know how to say it" he laughed "but I saw you looking at Jack's compass a few minutes ago and was just curious to where where it pointed" he said, making your face turn a bright red.

     You knew you'd have to tell him because you're terrible at lying.

      "Uhm- I uh, it pointed- it, it-" you sighed "it uh.. it pointed to you Ragetti"

     You got up and tried to hurry away but you felt Ragetti grab your hand. You turned around too embarrassed to look at him.

     Before you could even think, you felt Ragetti's lips crash into yours. You were shocked, very shocked but kissed him back quickly.

     The kiss deepened and your hand found it's way to the back of his head, running your fingers through his hair, While the other rested on his chest. You felt his hands gripping your waist as they moved up to your neck. You hum into the kiss.

     The kiss slowly turned into a make out. But eventually you two stopped. Your faces just inches apart, slightly panting. When you opened your eyes you saw Ragetti smiling as hard as he could.

     "I love you y/n. I always have, I was just.. too scared to tell you" he admitted as he wrapped his arms around your waist.

     "I.. I love you too" you smiled, wrapping your arms around his neck.

     He gave you another quick kiss, and rested his forehead against yours, closing his eyes to just enjoy the moment with you.
