Okay, my lovely readers, I thought it would be best if I just mention something here.
If you are going through any type of abuse right now, or are experiencing anything similar to Alva, please please don't do what she's doing. If you are being abused or were abused in the past and nobody knows about it, I beg you to reach out to someone to talk to about it.
The reason Alva isn't telling anyone is because it's my creative decision for the story, I in no way condone silence when you are being abused.
I was afraid of talking to anyone about my abuse, mainly because I wanted to protect my abuser, but trust me, talking to someone helps and your safety comes first. My life is a thousand times better now just because I reached out for help.
Please, put your safety first and get the help you deserve.
On another note, thank you all so much for reading this so far and for putting up with my horrible creative choices. I'm so mean to poor Alva.
