-Elizabeth's POV-

I sighed in relief as it been one hour and no phone call.

Getting into bed, I immediately felt sleepy. Finally a night sleep...

The door bell rang, making me groan. If it's Meliodas, I'm gonna be so mad!

I went down the stairs and opened the door, about to yell at Meliodas when I saw it was someone else.

"What are you doing here so late? Mael?"

"Jelamet and I had an argument, she kicked me out of the house... can I stay with you a couple nights?"

"Sure... umm, come in... I... are you okay?"

"Y-yeah... We haven't broken up or anything, but I'm scared she we will... we have had quite a lot arguments lately..." He said, stepping in as he put down his bag around his shoulder.

"About what?"

"Well, she has been working even more these past few months and I told her I missed to take her out... then she has gotten a bit of extra weight and I'm afraid something's wrong with her."

"I will try to talk to her, but you can stay here while she's still mad at you..." I replied. He nodded, saying "I'm happy I have you as my best friend."

Grinning at him, I asked "Movie night?"

"Movie night." He repeated, grinning back. We immediately went over to the kitchen and I got the snacks I found, being some random stuff that's tasty.

"What movie?" I asked as he helped me take everything to the living room.

"I dunno, horror maybe?"

"Oh, you are trying to scare me, aren't you? Well, for your information, I have started watching some myself to not get scared anymore."

"Well, then I have the perfect one." He spoke, snatching the phone from me and putting it on. He soon gave me it and I put it on the table.

Mael made sure it was dark in the room before going to sit beside me.

I was snuggled up beside Mael, feeling scared of the movie. I screamed as my phone started ringing and Mael started laughing.

"Quit laughing! I was just not expecting that! Let me just answer the call."

"I'm sorry, you are just always acting so confident, so it's funny to see you getting scared."

Rolling my eyes, I answered the call, which was face time.

"Hey Meliodas, why are you calling?"

"Can you come over? I feel really lon- who's beside you?"

"Oh, this is Mael, just my friend." I said, showing Mael who waved his hand.

"Anyways, what were yo-"

"I will see you later Elizabeth." He suddenly said and hung up. Feeling confused, I put down my phone and asked "Continue watching?"

"Sure." Mael said and the movie turned on again.

"Are you sure you aren't falling asleep?"

"Yeah... I'm just shutting my eyes for a little bit..." I mumbled back, trying to stay awake. I will just rest my eyes and then I will be fine again...

The door bell rang, making me jump up from my seat.

"I'm going to see who it is..." I mumbled, getting up. Mael just paused the movie as I went up to the door. Of course, it just has to be Meliodas...

"Who was that guy when I called you?" He immediately asked, letting himself in.

"Someone jealous?"

"Of course I'm jealous when some random guy is with my mat- love! My love!"

"You aren't my love, besides, Mael is only a friend. Just above you." I groaned, locking the door and making my way back to Mael.

"He's not above me!"

"Oh, yes he is, more ways that physical too..."

"That was just mean! I can't help my height!"

"Yeah, but that's your problem, not my." I mumbled, sitting down beside Mael again, resting my head on his shoulder.

The movie turned on as Meliodas sat down on the other side of me, but pulling me to lay on him instead. Being too tired to care, I just snuggled into his neck as his arm laid down around my waist.

"And why aren't you asleep?! It's late and you seem so tired! You should sleep peacefully!"

"Be quiet, we are watching a movie." I scolded him and he went quiet immediately.

-Mael's POV-

I stretched in my seat as the movie ended. I'm quite tired now.

Looking towards this Meliodas and Elizabeth, I asked "Is she asleep?"

"Does it matter to you?" He spat, making me say "I was just wondering."

"Leave her alone." He said, making me ask "What?"

"She's my girl, don't even think you have a chance with her."

I rolled my eyes, saying "We are just friends. Besides, she's not yours either, she doesn't have a boyfriend and it definitely aren't someone like you."

"What are you trying to say with that?!"

"Well, for starters, you don't even look like one of the guys she's been attracted to, the opposite actually and the same with your personality. Who would ever want some acting like you do?"

"You are wrong then. We are practically already together." He spoke, making me just say "Liar." as I stood up.

I walked over to Elizabeth, trying to pick her up to leave her in her bed when my hands was slapped away.

"Keep your filthy hands away from her."

"I doubt a midget like you can carry her."

"I have carried her more times than you can count."

"How many then?"

"One time, way more than what you can count to." He spoke. I glared at him as he got up from the couch, carrying Elizabeth.

"You should get out of here."

"Too bad I'm living here for the time being." I mocked. He looked at me, saying "What a coincidence, I'm living here too from now on."

"There's only one guest room, so I don't think so-"

"Oh, I don't need one. I'm sleeping with my future wife. Just to make sure you doesn't try anything." He mumbled, walking out of the living room.

Sighing, I made sure the tv was off and cleaned the living room the best I could by putting stuff in their places.

Once I was done, I went up to the guest room, peeking in at Elizabeth through the door before going in.

She was still sleeping and this Meliodas was laying beside her, holding her close and caressing her body.

Rolling my eyes, I went to the guest room to sleep.
