7 minutes in heaven

You are sitting right next to your best friend Levy McGarden, with the rest of your friends from the Fairy Tail Guild, completely oblivious to what is about to happen, just enjoying being with Levy. Then mid sentence Lucy stands on top of a chair and shouts: "Who is ready to play Seven Minutes In Heaven?"Everyone starts to cheer but you. You try to escape, but you can't because Erza is standing right in front of the door. You quickly think up an excuse to tell Erza and in a flash of inspiration you tell Erza sounding all calm and zen like: "I have to call someone, I'll be right back." Unfortunately either your zen or excuse wasn't good enough, because she pushes you back into your seat, and shouts out to everyone: "EVERYONE SHUT UP AND LISTEN!"Everyone instantly shuts up nobody dared make a sound and listened to Erza as she spoke in a clearly excited voice: "We even have a volunteer to play first." Lucy comes over to you with the bag. You try to refuse, but again what you are saying just flies over their hands and gets ignored. With no other choice you stick your hand into the bag and start to feel around. You feel something spiky. You pull it out, curiosity taking control, wondering what it is. You look down at the item that is now in your hands... it was a pair of headphones that looked like you crushes...Laxus's. You were then pushed into a closet by Erza, and as she closed the door she said:"I'll look for your partner."As you stumbled and fell onto the floor you hear the dull click of the lock as it fell into place. You scuttle back into the far corner of the dark closet, to you it was the creepiest closet in the freaking world. Time meant nothing to you because now you were in a complete mental meltdown, you are terrified of small, dark places. You are like the worlds biggest scaredy cat, you are afraid of everything. As what seemed to you to be like hours of being in the closet you imagine every possible thing that could be in the dark with you, spiders, earwigs, lady bugs... Now you are absolutely terrified and certain that the closet is full of the sinister bugs and they are coming closer to you taunting you with the knowledge of your fear. Just as you were about to start screaming hysterically and attack the door- with some thought of breaking it down with your bare hands if they didn't let you out- when you hear the closet door unlock. You are at first relieved, sagging against the wall with your relief, thinking that someone's going to let you out, but as the door remains shut you immediately freeze from the paralyzing fear, thinking, What if it's a bad guy? A serial killer? A narcissistic sadist, come to torture you?... The door slowly creaked open on this last thought and into your renewed terror stepped the blonde dragon slayer that you just happen to have a crush on, Laxus, and your mind goes blank. What is he doing here? Is he some hallucination I summoned up to make me feel better?Just as you accept this, even welcome it, Erza says in a calm and what sounded to you amused and excited voice: "You two have 7 minutes no more, no less, so don't do anything to wild."And with a wink she closes and locks the door. With Laxus, who is not your imagination in the closet with you. You think you hear Laxus say "(y/n) where are you", but the only thing you noticed was the sudden little ball of lightning he made so he could see you. When you don't reply -you couldn't because you nearly had a freaking heart attack with the fright of the sudden appearance of the lightning ball, thinking vaguely, 'This is it. This is the end of (y/n), good bye world...', he looks around the small closet looking to see where you are. Laxus spotted you cowering in the far corner with your knees up to your chest, desperately clutching them to you like a shield, fearfully looking towards the lightning ball that would be the cause of your imminent death. Being in the room by yourself for the unspecified amount of time, left with your own fear made you unreasonable, you could not comprehend what's real and what isn't. Laxus started walking over to you slowly as if to keep you from getting more scared than you already were, which oddly enough begins to calm your raging terror, and he asks: "Are you okay (y/n), what's wrong?" And with that your terror diminished enough for you to become embarrassed at the situation and causes you to attempt to sound brave, which only manages to make you sound more weak, and pitiful as you say in a crackling voice that sounds as if you are going to cry from fright: "I am fine, nothing's wrong."  Laxus has now made it to your side gingerly sitting beside you, to keep you from freaking, and draps the arm that isn't holding the lightning ball around your hunched shoulders. He says with worry and concern in his voice:"(y/n) you know you can trust me, we're friends... no that's wrong we are more than that we are family, just like everyone else in the guild. You're shaking and sound like you are about to cry." He is now sounding angry with the worry and concern as he continues: "So stop trying to act brave and tell me what's wrong." You slowly lift your head, tears in your eyes now, and look him right in the eyes and say: "I know you're going to laugh at me if I tell you, so no." Laxus replies with a smile and in a surprisingly gentle, caring and tender voice: "I promise that I will not laugh at you. Unless you tell me a joke then I can't promise anything there." You keep looking in his eyes as you begin to explain that you are scared of tight spaces, spiders, the dark, horror and/or scary movies and/or stories, basically spilling your guts to him, and that you were practically lost your mind when you were locked in the closet. He leans down to your ear, and whispers: "Everything will be okay. I'm here, right beside you to protect and keep you safe, plus we only have to stay in here for 7 minutes, so everything will be okay." As he finished he moved his hand down to your waist and pulls you towards him until your head lay on his chest and your side was pressed against his. You were hugging. Laxus is huggingyou to comfort you. This obliterated the last traces of your lingering fear leaving you giddy with the new swarm of emotions. Happiness from being held by your crush. Comfort because your crush understood your fears and was being nice to you about it, not making fun of you, just talking and holding you, and he was illuminating the dark with a lightning ball, which you are no longer afraid of. Nervousness at being held by your crush, thinking, What do I do? Do I just sit here and act natural? You like that idea so you act as if it is Levy holding you instead of Laxus. Yup. A bigger, muscular Levy. Nope this is not going to work, he is obviously not Levy. As your thoughts became more and more agitated you become aware that Laxus is talking and as you begin to pay attention to what he is saying you get distracted from your inner thoughts and are completely absorbed with what he is saying. He's still trying to convince you that everything will be okay, and it warms your heart that he cared enough to try. For the rest of the time in the closet you let yourself be comforted by Laxus and his words. When the 7 minutes were up, Erza whips open the door and quickly takes a photo of you and Laxus, hoping to get something that is really embarrassing, but the results didn't make her happy because she frowned. She was confused because all you two were doing was hugging. No kissing, no intimate touching, nothing but a simple comforting hug. When Erza looked at you she got a big happy grin on her face because you had a blush on yours. At Erza's entrance and picture taking you and Laxus looked up because of the sudden light streaming and flashing into the dimly lit closet. The moment your sluggishly content brain realized what just happened and what position you were in, you push away from Laxus, hand him back his headphones that you had been clenching in your hands and forgotten about in your terror stricken haze, and walked out of the closet, leaving a very confused Laxus behind. Everyone's gaze follows you, as you walk in an embarrassed daze out of the guild, belatedly announcing that you were going home. As soon as you were out of sight they shot Laxus a very accusing and confused stare, to which Laxus shrugs and walks back to the seat that he had been sitting in before Erza came to make him go into the closet with you.
