"Why would you do that!?"

"You killed them!"

"It's your fault they are dead!"

"If only you hadn't gotten in my way!"

"I wish.. I wish it was you.. not them.."

Sakura widens her eyes and quickly stands up in cold sweat. She's panting hard as she hears those words echoe in her mind again and again. Her left arm starts to sting so she looks at it still feeling shaken up.

It's her scar that's bothering her again. The sight of it makes her cringe so she quickly looks away and stands up.

She looks over to her night stand and grabs a scroll that is there.

She stares at in her hands and hears familiar voices in her head. Her head starts to ache so she reaches up to massage her temples. Another constant bother that doesn't seem to go away.

The voice had started to fade as she tried her best to calm down.

This isn't the first time she's woken up like this with the same voice and words playing on repeat in her mind. Sometimes the voice wouldn't let her sleep since it brought back so many memories that would keep her up all night.

She looks over to her alarm clock and notices the time. 'It's barely three in the morning..' She curses under her breath and starts walking to the bathroom with the scroll still in hand. Whenever she wakes up after only getting a minimum of three hours, she decides to start her day. At first she would try falling back asleep but it would be pointless since every time she does, she sees their faces. It's like God is punishing her by reminding her of her mistakes. Her loss. Her regrets.

So instead of wasting time tossing and turing trying to fall back asleep, she gets up to do something proactive to make her forget.

Once Sakura had finished up in her shower she wears her proper clothes and makes sure to open a new pack of bandages. She hates seeing the sight of her scar on her left forearm so she covers it. The same goes with the scar on her jawline. She uses waterproof foundation to cover it and make it unnoticeable.

She stares at her reflection.

Her eyes looks so empty. Her smile is no longer there. She has bags under her eyes.

Who would've thought this was the girl she was going to turn into. Who would've thought life would turn into hell.

She remembers the pain, the words, the smells, the sounds. It's everything that she wishes to just forget, but just can't.

"It's your fault they are dead!"

She flinches at the memory and grabs the scroll near her right. She grips it hard and feels herself start to hyperventilate. "I didn't... I didn't..." Her vision starts to go blurry as she repeats those words out loud.

"Don't lie to yourself. You know you did."

Sakura gasps and throws the scroll at her mirror. The glass breaks and shatters to the ground. She stares at it wide eyed and slowly backs away. The small pieces of glass that fell on her feet fall off as she steps back.
