After a couple of hours, they finally picked out the best photos. Where they post them, I don't know.

"It was fun posing with you Max." A girl named Tish that I obviously took photos with me said while walking by my side.

"Yeah it was pretty fun." I mumbeled. She was very gorgous, but unlike her I'm officaily gay and she's straight as a pole.

"I think if you keep shooting with us we're going to be best friends." She smiled. She was my age and had bloned curls with brown eyes. I nodded and she turned away.

"I need to talk to someone. Talk to you later. Oh wait..." She walked back over writting something on my palm. "That's my number text me." She then walked off.

"Ready?" Dallas asked when I was about to sit.

"Yup." I mumbeled. We reached home, without a single word said. Usually when he is quiet he's either thinking hard or mad. So I kept quiet and walked to my bedroom.

"Hey Max?" I stopped walking turning around.

"With you modeling I get paid. So don't screw this up." His dead serious face gave me the reason to not reply. I nodded and started back to the basement steps.

I stumbled down the steps and laid on my bed. I laid my phone on my stomach and suddenly giggled when it vibrated. I was wide eyed staring at my phone. Did I just giggle?

It vibrated again and I quickly picked it up. The name said private and I contemplated on picking it up, finally deciding it was just a call and I could easily hang up. I answered.

"Hello?" I asked nervously.

"Getting into modeling now?" Nate's voice rang over the line. My heart quickened in pace.

"I don't know." I hesitated.

"If you don't want the rumor of you banging your brother going around school, I suggest you show up at the park in a hour." He threatened.

"You know that's not true!" I yelled getting angry and offensive.

"Yeah, but nobody else does." He hissed. "Just do it Max." And the line went dead. I huffed in frustration.

What am I going to tell Dallas? I could always sneak out, but if he came to find me he would wait till I was back and kill me. But if I don't... I know school will be hell, and the fact Nate can get that rumor started by one text. I didn't expect him to do this, but the way he's acting now wouldn't really surprise me if he did.

I guess sneaking out is my only option. Considering if I asked Dallas would say no. I slipped my black vans back on that the people let me have. I think I'm actually liking this new job. It's sorta fun the only thing is Austin. It actually surprised me that he hates me. He doesn't even know me... But that didn't stop every one else from hating me.

I slipped quietly up the stairs. The sound of Dallas talking gave me the safe knowledge he was on the phone. I got out the door without him noticing. I'm happy the park is in walking distance because my ankle is killing me.

Once I was there I didn't see Nate so I sat down on the swing. I dug the tip of the new shoes into the dirt. Then the thought of stupidity took over me. Why would I come here? He could have a gang watching me about to kick my ass again. I'm small I don't think I can take another one of those again. I got up looked around and went to walk away.

"Stop." A voice said from behind me. Nate's voice. Dammit he must have been in the shadows my eyes scanned over him. Why would I come out in the dark anyways? Why do I always make the stupid decisions? I sighed and turned. He was all alone standing a couple feet away from me. The closeness made my breath hitch.
