Alex, The less popular boy with dirty blonde hair and brown globes walks up to the rooftop.
"Hello? Anyone here?"
I respond with "No, Just me."
He sits down and says "Oh good, I thought there was a ghost here!"
He chuckles like a turnip.
He then looks at me and says "Would you like to come to my party tommorow?" He hands me the invitation.
I look at him and look at the invite. I then say "Sure! I would love to"
He replies with "Great! Ill see you there!" and then walks down the stairs.
Before leaving, He looks back, Smiles, And waves.
My heart pounding, I think... "Could he be the one? He's so nice... And lovely..."
I get MAJOR butterflies. and then walk down to the cafeteria.
While walking down the stairs, I run into Christopher.
He says "Hey! What do you think your doing?!"
I say "S-s-s-s-s-sorry... i-i-i-"
"Shut up, Poopyhead!" and pushes me from the front, Making me fall onto the stairs.
"Now, Behave. And DONT EVER do that again." And then growls and walks away.
I get up from the stairs and get the dust off my outfit. The janitor never bothered to clean the stairs anyway.
I walk to the cafeteria sitting alone. Nobody likes me because Im not like other girls.
I dont wear makeup, I dont wear pink, And I'm a loner.
But then Alex sits next to me.
"Heya! You still coming to my party tomorrow? It starts at 11am." (wtf thats so early??
I respond "Sure!-" and then a corvette parks in front of the school.
"Oop, Looks like I gotta go set up the party. Nice meeting you!"
"Oh okay... Bye..."
Im dissapointed because I didnt even get to know him. But then... Theres a note attached to where he was sitting.
I pick it up, It says... "Heres my number if you wanna hang. 619-571-992" (I really hope that isnt a real number)
I squeal in glee, and then put it in my pocket.
THE NEXT DAY
I wake up excited and head to my closet, My hair waving in the non-existant wind.
I pick up two dresses. One I bought and one my mom bought me even tho my whole family died 10 minutes before i was born. (this is an inside joke in my family now 😭)
I decided to put on the one my mum got me that looks like a deflated balloon because its all i have left of her.

He sent that at 7 am. Currently 11 am. I see the corvette park in front of the driveway.
I run to my mudroom and put on my 2.5 inch heels and head for the car.
