Author's note: I was in the mood to write a continuation for Pat and Non. We have a brave Non here today.

The kitchen smelled like vanilla, strawberries and sugar. Non was humming an unknown tune, happily skipping around the kitchen counter, mixing the topping for the new cake. He was talking with P'Pat through the Line. The doctor was so kind to him, assuring him that it's okay to be passionate about the things you like to do. And when P'Pat asked him on a date, Non's heart skipped a beat. He was worried at first, but he let himself be happy for once. When the older male mentioned strawberry cake, Non immediately knew what to do. And here he was, baking for the man he liked.

He was decorating the cake when he heard someone coming into the room. Looking up from his position, his face darkened, spotting his mother.

"You are baking again?" She asked, snickering at the almost finished cake. Non nodded, trying to ignore her as much as he could.

"I told you already I don't eat this shit." She pointed at the sweet treat like it was a poison.

"It's not for you," Non murmured, nearly inaudible.

"Not for me? Is anyone else stupid enough to eat it?" She laughed. Non felt tears pooling in his eyes and anger rising inside of him. No one has a right to talk like that about P'Pat.

"P'Pat is not stupid. He's the kindest man, and he loves my baking!" He yelled, packing the cake in the paper box before storming out of the kitchen and the house, leaving his stunned mother behind.
