The Death Of The Mother

It was a cold night in Detroit, Michigan, and snow fell down everywhere. Then a car came by to a near convenience store. It was no other than Evelyn Mercer she was getting a turkey for her boys and Natalia for Thanksgiving dinner. She saw the boy Darnell stealing candy, so she decided to teach him a lesson. She always believed everybody had something good inside them. So she told the store clerk to call the cops but it was a trick. The boy realized his mistake and left. She went to get the turkeys until the robber came in. One of the robbers said, "Give me your money now!" The cashier was scared, so I gave them their money. Until one of the robbers said, "This is America homeboy black people don't get what they want. Why should you?" And shot him. Evelyn was scared she let out a noise for the robber to hear. Then, two more gunshots were heard, and the robber left.

Natalia P.o.v
I was in my apartment in New York City because of my job. I was playing mortal combat on my PC because I finished working on my project. I got a call from an unknown number on my cell phone. I paused my game, then I picked up my phone and answered it "Hello who is this?" I said. "Is this Natalia Ramirez I'm speaking to?" said the person on the phone. "Yes, this is Natalia?" I said, sounding worried. "I'm sorry to inform you, but Evelyn Mercer was killed in a  robbery last night,"

Hearing that news made my heart drop. I instantly hung up the phone and tossed it to the bed. Hearing this news made everything slow down. I dropped to my knees as tears slipped from my eyes. The person who I saw as a mother is gone. How could someone do this to her she's literally a saint. I heard my phone ding from a notification. I slowly got up and walked to my bed and picked up my phone, and I said I got a text from Jack. I unlocked my phone and glanced at the text.

Jack: Hey, I got the news, did you?
Nat: Yeah, I did.
Jack: How are you feeling?"
Nat: To be honest, not well
Jack: I know how you feel
Nat: I don't understand how anyone could do that to her she's literally a saint.
Jack: I know her funeral is gonna happen in a few days
Nat: I'll be there

No One's P.o.v
Everybody came to the funeral people were walking in until Bobby stopped. He noticed his brothers and his sister Natalia. She wasn't really her sister like his brothers, but the relationship they had were like brother and sister. The only person who was missing was angel. They went to the grave and watched as their mother got buried. When the service was over, everybody went to Jeremiah's house. Bobby was in his car driving to find a parking spot when he drove past a car and saw people he recognized. Parked across from the house was a car that held two cops. "I've never thought I see that face," said Lt. Green. "Who is he anyway?" Detective Fowler asked. Lt. Green explain each of the Mercer boys and there reputation. 

"OK, but who's the girl?" Fowler asked. "Oh, that's Natalia Ramirez she wasn't adopted by the Mercer's she had her own family. But the parents were very busy people and didn't have time for her, so she hung out with the boys she's a pro hacker and got charged with assault a few times for saving the boys ass from getting beat up." Lt. Green said. "She's one interesting girl to be hanging around people like that". Detective Fowler says as he goes through her file. "Yeah but she made a name for herself became valedictorian, moved out to Now York City, and got her self some good paying jobs". Lt. Green says proudly as he knew the girl since she was young.

Jack's P.o.v
I made it to the house and went to get a smoke outside. Natalia came behind me. I moved my cigarette away from her and put it out. She doesn't like it when people smoke she always talks about how deadly it is. I gave her a hug and we went back to the house. There was Bobby and Jeremiah but no angel, I can't believe he would miss our mom's funeral . "Y'all remember when I built that tree house, and y'all burned it down?" Jeremiah said we all started to laugh at that moment. "Damn, I wanted to kick your ass," Jeremiah said. We went inside. I said hi to my nieces, and talked to others. Hours later we went back to our old house. Bobby and Jeremiah drove their cars to the house while I went with Natalia.

NoOne's Pov
The four came to the old house they used to live in. When Jeremiah unlocked, someone spoke. "Y'all ain't right leaving me in the cold." it was no other than Angel. "Damn, you were the hell have you been?" Natalia said while hugging Angel. They went inside and went to their rooms. Everyone had their own rooms, including Natalia.

Natalia's Pov
I went in my old room everything was the same. My old games and my security system too. I made sure that this house was safe so no one could hurt my family. I looked everywhere, then I saw it went into the bathroom. I knew he was crying, so I left him alone. Bobby doesn't like people seeing him cry. A few minutes later, I went to check up on Jack. Bobby and Jack were talking. I knocked on the door, and their attention focused on me. "Hey, can I come in?" I asked. "I don't know why you ask you been in my room before you don't have to ask," Jack said. I rolled my eyes and crawled on his bed, sitting next to him. "Y'all better not be making out while while I'm here," Bobby said while laughing. I crawled over Jack and hit Bobby on the head. "Shut the hell up, Bobby," I said.

Jack's Pov
Natalia came into my room after Bobby and sat next to me. "Y'all better not be making out while while I'm here," Bobby said while laughing. I blushed. I got even more redder when Nat crawled over me and hit Bobby on the head. Her dress rode up, and her underwear was showing. I turned away, and then she sat back down. Nat looked at me and asked if I was ok. I lied and said yes. I didn't want her knowing I had a crush on her. I thought she only saw me as a brother. Then Jeremiah cane in. He was talking about getting a turkey for Thanksgiving. Then Angel had his hat on about to leave. He was talking about leaving. Nat and Bobby started laughing. "Man, you can smell that ass fron down the street, huh?" Nat said while laughing. She had the most cutest laugh in the world. Then Bobby said, "You know exactly what nat talking about." Angel looked confused. That's when Jeremiah said, "You know she is a boyfriend."She got a boyfriend she got hard dick in her right now screaming somebody else's name and the last she doing is thinking about your black ass" Nat said. I started laughing with her Bobby and Jeremiah. Angel got made and said he wasn't leaving to see her and left. We laughed more and called it a night and whet to bed.
