chp 4 -Horrid Car ride-

Expresso POV

I thought the school day was horrible but this car ride,,Quite possibly the worse thing to ever happen to me

I refuse the look at the other the whole time and mainly just looked out the window and painted st directions to go.After about 20ish minutes of silentness Madeleine decided to open his Mouth.

"So uh How has it been?"He asked him in a very awkward manner.

I shrug-"It has been fine,,You?"I knew how it was going for him, Everything was probably just going perfect for him!

"Ah everything is fine also,Mom in the hospital again but besides that's everything has been fine!"He said.I could tell he didn't even believe that himself.

Ever since we were younger I always remembered his mom being in the hospital,It seemed like every month she was in there,All for different reasons,Kidney stones,Heart issues, Blood pressure,All of that.

If I was being completely honest I have no idea how she is still alive.

"What for now?"I asked him.

"Uhm,,Nothing major it's just she got in a uhm,, Accident"He said with a sigh.

"What type of 'Accident'?"I ask,Somewhat curious.

"Uh a car crash but Hey let's not get into that now-"He says really nervously.

Something was clearly wrong,but the real question was did I care?I didn't wanna care but for some reason I did."Ugh,,Are you fine or is something wrong,,Besides the car thing?"I asked him.

"Nope-!Not at all-!all fine!"He said

God he was a horrible liar and everyone knew that

I decided to not get into it that much and just shrugged-"Alright"I said

"Ok well I told your something bad going on in my life,Is there anything you wanna talk about?"He asks me.

I just shrugged.Where would I even start??So much has happened,The divorce,The bulling,Just everything

"Come on, Something is bothering!I can tell Expresso!"He said.

"Ugh shut it,You talk too much"I told him as I look out the window some.

"Hey that's not the Expresso I remember"He said with a nervous laugh.

"Well people change-?!"I said in anger.i quickly realized I didn't mean for it to come out that angry."Uh sorry-"I said to him.

"No it's fine,I know you have changed it's just weird cause I just remember when we would sneak out to go to the park,I still remember the time your dad caught us-"Madeleine said.Uh huh,I fucking hated my dad for that I still do I'll never forgive him for that,He doesn't deserve to be forgiven.Im happy him and mom got a divorce."About that,,he and my mom got a divorce"I told him

"Oh,,Was that what was bothering you or is it something else?"He asks

"oh it's not just that she re-married and is married to a girl,I like her she's nice"I say with a small smile .

"Well that's good,Why did they get a divorce?"He asked me

"Uhm long story"I say to him but he insisted I tell him.

"Uh it has to with uh- Just nevermind I'll tell you later!"

Just then we reached my house,Thank God.

I got my shit and waved bye and went inside.

I can never let him know the fact they got a divorce was basically because of me and him
