"We need to acquire the coffee beans from Brazil," said Terry's boss.
"I think we should go with Honduras because they offer better variety," said Terry.
"Well, you've become a single white male with a penchant for advising your boss on things he already knows so I'll assume you liked my idea and we'll go with my idea."
Terry was frustrated at work. Terry was frustrated in his real life. All the things he'd hoped for were turning out to be the crumbling of American society and the American dream. He was working for a coffee importer in Gainesville, Florida with an unusual need to excel in life at the costs of family, and the forlorn expectations of everyone he's ever met. He used people until they weren't usable. His underlying closeted homosexuality didn't help either.

After work Terry went to the pub. All his friends hung out there, Jack, Susan, and Billy. This pub was cultured with the aroma of disgust at all things. A neoliberalism that pretended to love newly antiquated ideas. It reeked of small town elitism.

As Terry walks in Jack says, "It's a shit day, man."
"Why's that?" Terry asks.
"Susan just found out I've been sleeping with Carol."
"What's the big deal, doesn't she sleep with Carol too?"
"The big deal is she thought I had a thing for skinny bitches. Now, I have to tell her I like big bitches too."
"Seems like a YOU problem."
"Whatever, man."
Terry continued to order his drink. The barmaid whirled up his cocktail and assessed his day by his demeanor.
"Hey, the name's Kandice."
"Oh hey, Kandice. You're new here. Sorry, if I was impolite."
"No worries."
Terry continued to meander about when a Moorish man walked in.
"Terry, my name is Ghota."
"Who the fuck are you? How do you know my name?"
"I come from Algeria. A man told me to meet you here."
"Who? What?"
"He said to give you this box in order for you to fuck yourself."
"WHAT!?!?!?!?!"
"You'll understand when the time comes."
It was a mini black box with an anal bead on top of it.
"Take it!"
Terry took the box.
