Prologue

Leonardo Franklin was a great painter. Leonardo painted a picture of a man named Victor Edwards. Victor was a handsome man. Victor was arrogant and shallow. Victor only cares about his looks. Victor was afraid to lose his looks. Victor knew this witch name Rose who gave him a magic mirror. The mirror kept him young. Victor invites many beautiful people to his party. Leonardo was proud of his painting and he gave the painting to Victor. Victor liked the painting, but he hid it. Leonardo never questions why Victor hid the painting.

Years have passed and Victor still looks very young. Leonardo wondered why Victor didn't grow old. Leonardo also began to question why Victor wanted to hide the painting. Leonardo did not know what to do. Victor was a good friend of his. Leonardo tries to visit Victor, but no one was home. Victor would bring many beautiful women home with him. Leonardo has to take a trip to France, so he has to wait to talk to Victor. There is also a man named Kevin Roads who is skeptical of Victor. Kevin had a sister named Sally who disappeared. Kevin believes Victor has something to do with his sister's disappearance.

Weeks later, Leonardo was home. Leonardo went to visit his brother. Leonardo's brother's name was Larry. Leonardo and Larry were very close. Larry had a lot of mental problems and Leonardo would take care of him. Larry's wife Pam left him for another man. Pam and Larry had a son named Sam. Sam loves his father very much. Sam lived with his mother and stepfather. Sam did not get along with his stepfather. Sam thought his stepfather was a jerk. "What is the matter, Leonardo?" Larry asks. "I think Victor is acting weird. Victor hid the painting I gave him and he has not aged a day since I give him the painting," Leonardo replied.

"Maybe he takes care of himself," Larry Suggest. "Also, Victor does not have any mirrors in his house," Leonardo replied. "My brother that does not prove anything. Do you think Victor is a vampire?" Larry asks. "I do not know, but he is hiding something," Leonardo replied. "My brother do not worry about it. You do not have any proof that Victor is committing any crimes," Larry replied. "I am not saying he is committing crimes I am just worried. Victor is my friend I just want to make sure he was ok," Leonardo replied. "Ok, but be careful," Larry replied. "Do not worry about me," Leonardo replied.

The next day Leonardo went to see Victor. Victor was getting ready to go out. "Victor, can we talk?" Leonardo asks. "Can it wait?!" Victor asks angrily. "No, it cannot!" Leonardo replied. "Well, it is going to have to wait! I have plans so, please leave!" Victor orders angrily. "When is a good time to come back?" Leonardo asks. Victor stormed off without answering him. Leonardo knew that Victor is hiding something, but what can he do. Leonardo went home. Leonardo was not going to bother Victor anymore. Larry was right he should not worry about Victor.

The next day Larry went to see Leonardo. Leonardo was not home. Larry wonder where his brother was. Larry left a note on Leonardo's door. Larry went home. Later, Leonardo still has not come home. Larry became worried. Larry went to the police, but the police told him that they could not file a missing person report until 48 hours. Larry checks every hospital in town, but he could not find his brother. Larry puts pictures of Leonardo on the bulletin boards. Larry went to see Victor. Victor told Larry he saw Leonardo, but he ran him off. Larry went back to Leonardo's house to see if he was back, but he was not.

Weeks later, the police found Leonardo's body. They went to see Larry and they told him that his brother was dead. Larry had a nervous breakdown. He could not believe that his brother was dead. Larry knew that Victor had something to do with his brother's death, but did not have any proof. Larry knew that the police would not believe him. The police think that gang members might have killed Leonardo, but Larry does not believe it. Larry will not rest until he finds his brother's killer or killers.
