2. Secrets

Harry got slightly pissed during lunchbreak. It's been two weeks now and Ben still didn't tell his parents nor Mal.
Harry was in love with Ben, so it hurt to see how he was keeping himself from getting better.
Ben was a bit pale as he sat down and Mal looked at him with concern.
"Are you okay?" she asked and Ben nodded.
"Y- yea... I'm fine." Ben replied and he saw how Harry clenched his fist (only one since he still has his arm in a cast) as he stood up and left.
"Hook?" Uma asked and Gil looked at Uma.
"What just happened?"
"I don't know... But that guy is pissed off about something."
"I forgot something from my locker... I'll be right back..." Ben mumbled as he did go to his locker.

He looked at his phone as he saw that he got multiple missed calls from the hospital.
"Shit..." Ben mumbled and he rested his head against his locker gor a brief moment.
Then he felt a hand grabbing his shoulder and he yelped as he got turned around.
"You still didn't tell them, neither got on the treatments." Harry snarled.
"I- I didn't know how to-"
"Bullshit!" Harry sissed and Ben gulped.
"With everything going on- Mal has been stressed out already- my parents already worry too much and-"
"And you're practically dying if you won't get your ass on the damn treatments. Which you can't unless you open your damn mouth and tell them!"
"I will tell them!" Ben said and Harry didn't believe it for a second.
"When?" he snapped and Ben avoided Harry's gaze as he mumbled something.
"I didn't hear you." Harry said and Ben looked at him.
"I said I didn't know."
"You better tell them today or else I will."
"Harry you promised me not to tell anyone!"
"Yea if you would tell them yourself! So either you tell them today or I will!"
Harry looked Ben right in the eyes and he saw that Ben was trying hard not to cry because he could tell that Ben wanted to.
"...sorry." Harry mumbled before he walked away.
"Nice going Hook, scaring off your crush..." Harry mumbled to himself.

So the seven VK's and Ben met up after school and they went to the enchanted lake to hang out.
"Okay screw it. I can swim without transforming!" Uma said as she jumped into the lake (in her shirt and panties).
"Now you're being mean, since I can't get the cast wett!" Harry cussed.
Gil chuckled and soon Harry, Ben, Mal and Carlos were the only ones who weren't swimming in the lake.
"Carlos!" a small voice said and Carlos looked up, seeing Dude run to him.
"Hey buddy." Carlos said happily as he picked the dog up.
Brn started coughing a bit and both Mal and Harry looked at him with concern.
"Hey, are you okay?" Mal asked and Ben quickly whiped his hand off on his pants, hiding the two small drops of blood... but Harry noticed the two red dots.
"Y- yea, I'm okay."
Then Harry burst.
"Liar." he snarled and even the ither four came out of the lake.
"Harry shut up." Ben sissed.
"Then tell them!" Harry snapped.
"Okay what did we miss?" Evie asked and Mal looked at Ben.
"Tell what...?"
"Nothing." Ben said and Harry got up.
"Bullshit!"
"Harry shut up, please!"
"No. Don't shut up Hook, what the hell is going on?" Uma asked and Harry looked straight at Ben as he answered to Uma.
"Remember when I had to go to the hospital because of my arm?"
"Yea, a bit more then two weeks ago." Carlos commented.
"Harry shut up." Ben said as he got up.
"Ben was there too. But because of a different reason." Harry continued.
"Harry stop." Ben nearly begged.
"Last chance, tell them yourself right now. Or I will." Harry sissed and Mal looked at Ben.
"What is going on...?" she asked with concern.
"I..." Ben mumbled and Harry burst.
"That damn guy knows for two weeks now that he has lungcancer but hasn't told anyone neither got on any treatments yet." he said and the entire group fell silent.
"...you what?" Mal asked and Ben closed his eyes as he looked away.
"You should've told them sooner." Harry said softly before he left.
"Ben...?" Mal asked and Ben ran away, not wanting to deal with this now...
