Tzuyu POV
"Tzu? Are you awake?"
I heard Jungkook's voice from outside the room. I opened my eyes and found the sunlight had filled every corner of my room.
It's actually quite late for me to wake up since I'm a morning person. Maybe it's because last night, I was exhausted from collecting the books. Or maybe it was because something else too.
"I am." I said as I got up from the bed. I walked lazily to the bathroom and did my morning routine.
Today is Tuesday which I have morning classes whereas Jungkook doesn't. That's why Jungkook will looking after the bookstore today.
I'm wearing a baby blue blouse with jeans. I tied my hair in a ponytail because I prefer it that way. After preparing myself, I went downstairs and headed straight to the kitchen. Jungkook is waiting for me there.
"You slept here last night?" I asked him.
"Yeah, I was too tired to walk home." He answered while yawning. His face still looked so sleepy.
There is one more bedroom in my house. This room used to be my parents's bedroom. For now, Jungkook is the one using it. If he was too tired or too late for him to go to his own house, he used to stay in that room. That's how close our friendship is.
"Let's go then."
We walked towards Jungkook's house which actually has a courtyard that is directly connected to my house. Since my parents gone I always have breakfast or dinner at his house. You could say I was their second child. I've wanted to take care of myself ever since I started to live alone, but her mother is always worried about me and it always ended up like this.
"Good morning aunty, uncle." I greeted his parents as soon as I entered the dining room.
"Morning Tzu, have a class today?" Asked uncle who was reading a book.
"Yes uncle, even though I just want to sleep in my bed today." I replied while starting to help aunty setting the table.
"Haha.. How can you always say that but at the same time always getting the high rankings in college." She said. "You are indeed different from that kid." She continued while mocking Jungkook who was asleep again in the living room.
I also went to college just like Jungkook. I got an inheritance after my parents died. With the income from the bookstore, I was able to finance my education. On the other hand I have to study hard to get a scholarship. That's how independent I am.
"Of course, do aunty just notice it now?" I replied laughing.
After finishing breakfast, Jungkook and I returned to the bookstore.
