ABUJA, NIGERIA.

Even with the cuffs on his wrists, she could not help vigilate his every motion; he was still a threat, arrested or not.

Sadiya turned her head askew, her dawn ordeal washing over her entire self like an ice-cold pail of water. He will come for you. The man had mouthed to her. Who was he? Of course it was the 'D.U.' guy, the person who had sent the carnations. Apparently, by his minion's words, he was a 'he'. A 'he' who clearly knew her every move. The man had the balls to have had someone attack her, even before the crow of the cock.

Had he been waiting for her? Watching her from the complex, waiting to strike? For the love of God, who is D.U.? Sadiya thought to herself. The entire ordeal was sickening, to say the least. First, a bouquet, then a minion - a beefy one, next was...what?

She could not find it in her, to lay on her alluring bed to gound, who would in a situation as hers? She bet her sleep would only be nightmary. When her dawn attacker put her in a headlock (her head still throbbed from that), her hand sneakily slid into the fanny pack clipped around her waist, to retrieve the alarm keychain and instantly pressed its button.

Her amateur attacker seemed puzzled as to where the blaring sound that threatened to puncture his eardrums had come from, until he realized it was from his victim. He pushed her. Hard. He was scary, but she did not give away a clue with her intimidated stature. Instead, she pulled out her next weapon; the pepper spray. Well, a runner as she, who happened to be by the mouth of the alleyway, discreetly hid by a trashcan and called the fuzz.

The guy, seeing as the unfamiliar victim had the upper hand because she had kneed her attacker in the crown jewels stepped out and quickly knocked the guy out (with a carelessly laid metal rod beside him), from behind and saved the day. Sadiya's savior looked knocked out though, as all colour drained from his face when the buffy dude fell to the uneven concrete. As if it could get any weirder, the guy ran out of the narrow space as though his tail had caught fire.

Sadiya found it puzzling, as she had not even gotten the chance to thank him, nor exchange names.

Not that she looked forward to the last part, anyway.

As expected, the police arrived and took D.U.'s guy away. Plan failed, unfortunately for him. They promised to bring his boss into custody and would contact her when need be. Sadiya sighed, putting on a brave face was as tiring as it could be. The main purpose of that run was to blow off some steam, just to be met with an even bigger problem.

But whoever her secret-admirer was, she refused to be trampled on by another man.

He will come for you...

Three days flew by quick, ever since the scary experience.

If she had thought luck was being any friendly to her within those 72 hours, she might as well have been wrong about wanting to sleep forever, without as much as a peek of the outside world. Ranging from the starter of the game - D.U., after him was the virus called Nusaiba; who apparently thought the whole globe orbited around her rudeness-stinking self. As if those three days could not get any worse, she had a nightshift. A nightshift!

Not that if she was scheduled for the first shift was any better -well Sadiya had the mentality that it was- but, her insomnia was worse in the day. No matter how tight she shut the curtains and dimmed the lights in her apartment, her eyes would still be as dry as dust. So there she was, staring at the blank screen of her medium-sized tele, deep in her ocean of thoughts. Another detriment night shifts brought unto her.
