in the mornings, all hashira prep for their jobs such as cleaning their swords or taking care of loved ones, and training their tsugukos.

The five hashiras [ wind, thunder, ice, insect, water ]

have interesting mornings.

as the sun rises making shade around the trees and houses, as the birds flap their wings in the morning, the hashiras have to do the same.

I've always wondered of what the demons would do when the sun rises.

i know some hide in houses or buildings, but what about the outdoors? surely they have a spot maybe a cave.
but that's maybe a simple question with thousands of answers.

*knock*

" hm?. who is it? " i asked placing my book on my table to open the door

as i opened the door the first this i see is gisa. gisa is my tsuguko, as tsuguko can be a replacement of an hashira when they retire or die.

" ah it's you gisa, good morning did you sleep well? " i asked, the boy looked at me with a light smile as i said those words.

" good morning to master. I slept well....thank you," he said, gisa is shy he always keeps silent around others, but i don't mind as long as he is following the path he chooses it's fine.

" ahahaha, that's nice to hear did you need anything? ", it turned the boy to silent mode again his smile just went lighter.

" i- um... wanted to ask," he said as he fidgets with his fingers

" hm? ask away... " i said.

" can- we train today? everyone said my breathing now has increased... i wanna k-know if that's true or not. " he said, its cute to see him like this. I'm happy when he said he wants to train again, it brings me a sense that he is now more confident about his work.

"... of course, id be meeting you in the backyard of the estate," i said quietly getting up to get ready.

" yes master, thank you! " he yelled, its a good day now is it.

" ugh what time is it again?... " i looked at the area of my clock, my eyes still blurry after sleeping

as my eyes adjusted, i see that it was already 7.40 am. sigh still a long wait for a mission to come by.
i stood still thinking of what i should do this morning rather than stay in bed?

' look for a tsuguko, who knows when you will die. '

was the first thing that popped up, how cruel of my own mind to be doing this but hey their not wrong.
not every hashira has to have a tsuguko, but i just feel like the need to have one for the thunder generation's sake and also for morning boredom to be filled.

" sigh, it's still days since I've heard from the final selection about a kid that can do thunder breathing- "I said i put my hands on my face as i think about what to do.

" CAW CAW THUNDER HASHIRA MIZO KANAZAWA, CAW CAW HAS BEEN CALLED TO THE MAIN MEETING ROOM "

I got up and headed towards the main meeting room, master ubayashiki maybe has news for me! who knows let's go!

eating bento was a part of my morning routine, i eat alone sometimes.

but sometimes i don't eat alone it's either with Adam or Luis to barge in, cause the outside was too hot and my home feels fresh. although i appreciate the compliment, i do get annoyed when they just barge in.

I grabbed the egg with my chopsticks as I put them in my mouth, it tasted nice and creamy.

" Hey bro you look like your enjoying the egg, can i have yours??? " adam said, sometimes my sanity isn't so perfect.

" no. it's mine you eat your ramen," I said I sound cold but whatever.

" adam you need to stop asking people to have their food... it's not respectable. " Luis pointed out, somehow it brings me a feeling that these two are gonna bully each other again. in my estate. I should be used to this by now, but I can't.

" ohhhh look whos talking, I'm surprised you pointed me out! you always act quietly around us " adam said, laughing and pointing at Luis, this only fueled the fire more.

" shut up. I'm not always quiet! mom said I can talk or not talk whenever I want! plus I'm still growing! " Luis pout, it's a headache when these two fight.

" growing??, you're the same age as me! you should be talking more! " adam said, she got closer to Luis and poked him nonstop.

" Chun, Chun, Chun, Chun," she said, as she poked him again and again.

Luis snapped not a moment later, " you know...I named my 11th form of breathing after your pet butterfly right?. "

they both humped at each other in the sideyard of my estate, fighting with someone is against the rules but they never tell you how to stop them.

" HAAA, YOU ALWAYS SAY THE WRONG THING- " adam yelled being pushed back by Luis

" MAYBE YOU SHOULD THINK ABOUT HOLDING ON TO YOUR ANNOYING SIDE AND NO WORDS WILL BLOW OUT OF MY MOUTH! " Luis yelled back only to be pulled by adam, causing him to bonk his head on the ground.

"that's enough. both of you! " I said I tried to pry them off each other, due to their lack of strength I did it!

" I'm gonna tell mom everything. "
