You ended up walking home alone for quite a few reasons
1. mom was with her 'friends'
2.you refused to me taken home by a limo
3.its april and the weathers nice
4.its a 20 minute walk and you needed some exercise
5.you really didnt want to go home.

You took your time turning a 20 minute walk into 35, slowing down even more when you saw your home, it took a total of 45 minutes for you to get home even tho it should've taken 30 max.
Your head maid was not happy.
You where quickly whisked into a dressing room as she pulled on your corset/over coat.
"Ms.Nikki, im fine to get ready on my own"
"Well clearly not! you where supposed to be done by now and you arent even dressed!"
"Alright alright"
Nikki moved a strand of pink hair behind her ears and sighed
"i wish you didnt have to do this, you're to young."
"me to nikki, me too."
she smiled and flattened out your sleves
you looked up at her with chaos swirling in your throut.
"So hows your boyyyyfreinddd wilbur?" you asked (a/n: IM NOT SHIPPING NIKKI AND WILL)
Nikki hit you arm and squealed "WE ARENT DATEING!" She flicked the top of your head and smiled. "...but he is ok"
"i know i know, i was just teasing, but im glad he's ok, he's really sweet"
Nikki hummed at your response.
"He is! id say he's my best friend."
"im offended"
"you're like 12"
"IM 18!!"
"well you're 12 to me"
Nikki shrugged her shoulders and walked out the room as you followed behind.

in all honestly you'd rather have no ball and just sleep all day but that isnt an option.
"The best way to gaurd is small groups on each corner and small groups near every entering point from the inside. It makes more sense because if they can sneak inside ans all the gaurds are outside then what do we do?"
"no."
The head guard looked you dead in the eyes and said no.
yea Royal Highness [Name] doesnt play this game of disrepect.
"well why not, why wouldnt we. It makes the most sense. Its far more effcient and will probably attract more people to the event. would you want to go into the castle covered in gaurds? Wouldnt you see that and think 'wow, they seem really scared of someone breaking into the royal castle' thats not a good look, and the blame is all. on. you."
And with that little speech you smiled at all the gaurds at the table and in an (uncharacteristcaly) cheery tone, your smile not faltering once.
"so, shall we do indoor gaurds?"
~timeskip to after the meeting~
The top gaurd grabs your shoulder before the two of you could file out the room with everyone else
"sir?" you whipped your head around to see who was holding your arm with a deadly grip.
"What. The. HELL. was that? "
He was mad.
"I gave you an order. That's what happened, now I'd much prefer you let go of me before this goes south."
"What makes you think you can disrepect me? Im a man of great renound! Your kingdom is better off because of my hard work. You should bow to me!"
"I will not bow for anyone that would not returrn the guesture, now if you would excuse me, i'll be on my way." and with that you pulled your arm from his grip and walked off.
Shorter chapter but thats fine because i love the bad bleep energy [Name] is radiating. I really love their vibe and want to keep it desently consistent throught the story so if you have critism speack now or hold your peace lol.
