"Father, you can't do this to me!" The boy pleaded, eyes wide and teary.

The man gave no expression as he watched his son cower to the ground. "I am not your father, and you are no longer my son, not anymore."

The boy could not believe his ears, the man he had known his whole life, the man that raised him, was nothing but cold and heartless to him now.

"This curse has been afflicted on you and I must put an end to it, before you hurt someone." The man looked over to a young woman standing in the corner. "Do it now."

She walked up slowly, a hint of fear in her eyes. "Are you sure you want to go through with this, sir?"

"It has to be done." The man said before turning his back and walking away.

"Father please!" The boy's voice echoed through the room, never to be heard again.
