"Hey Luka! Promise we'll always be best friends?" 10 year old Tei asked with a huge smile on her face.

"Of course silly!" Luka lightly punched her in the arm. The pair ran all around the park they were at.

"Ah shoot I forgot about that project-" Luka realized.

"Oh right..."

The girls ran off to Luka's house, hoping to be able to spend more time together. About an hour passed before Luka's parents called for dinner, meaning it was time for Tei to leave.

"See ya tomorrow Luka!" She called as she ran out the door, slightly tripping on her way out.

"Bye bye!" Luka yelled back.

Tei sat in the garden, eating her lunch, staring at a hydrangea. It was nice and quiet here. No loud kids whining about the lack of milk. No loud adults screaming about how she lost a bed wars match. Well, it didn't stay this way for very long.

"THERE SHE IS! I FOUND HER!" Miki screamed. She ran over to where Tei was sitting. Luka and Arsloid followed.

"What do you want Miki." She growled.

"Someone's in a grumpy mood! LUKA FIX HER." Miki yelled. She jumped up and walked behind Luka, lightly shoving her forward.

"You ok? It's a little odd for you to be over here..." Luka questioned.

"I just wanted a little bit of peace before exams." Tei stated.

Luka knew deep down that something was probably going on with her. She sat down next to her and looked at her face, staring into her eyes.

"Woah Luka- I thought I was supposed to be the creepy one of the group not you." Tei joked.

"You know, you could tell me anything that's going on..." Luka tried hinting to Tei.

"Woah woah woah I dunno what you're thinkin', but nothing's wrong!"

"I see..."

Luka stared blankly at the flower. Something was very clearly wrong with Tei. She knew this, but it would take a lot of convincing before she'd actually open up.

"Ugh. You know what- Luka, can I talk to you in private..." Tei requested.

"Of course."

So maybe it wouldn't take as much convincing as she thought!

Luka and Tei walked over to a small area of the courtyard. It was just behind a shed and had an umbrella of trees above it.

"So um- I've been thinking- a lot- about that time." She whispered.

"That time?"

"Yeah- like- 5 years ago and stuff. When my life turned to shit and stuff- ya know. That time."

This can't be good.
