Jealousy; something that plagues the feelings of many people, something eerie and ghastly, an emotion sickening enough to make you act on impulse every- single- time. Although it is not uncommon to experience jealousy, especially in one's teen years, what happens when one is consumed by jealousy is something dangerous and dreadful. Unfortunately, Sorbet Shark got the bad end of jealousy, every time they feel it, it almost consumes them. Their emotions were always quite big, but the disease of jealousy was almost controlling them anytime they felt it.

Sorbet was an average student, average grades, slightly below average height, known by everyone- yet not popular in the slightest, someone always lovable, outspoken, and pleasant to be around. However, all of that changed the day they met Peppermint. To say they fell head over heels would be an understatement, they were obsessed with them. They always wanted to be by their side, always had them as a partner, and overall followed them absolutely everywhere like some lost puppy or bodyguard.

However, there was a problem Sorbet had, jealousy. When they caught Peppermint talking to anyone but them, they felt extremely jealous. They'd stare at the other cookies with wide eyes and a blank face, almost like they were suppressing the intent of murder under their face, yet the vibes slipped out anyway. It was always bound to make their friends uncomfortable, quickly stepping off of Sorbet's shoes and leaving Peppermint alone, the sailor-themed scholar being left confused why their friends were so quick to leave.

There was, of course, one more variable to this equation. Gumball Cookie. Gumball Cookie never headed Sorbet's cold stare or passive-aggressive tone. They stayed with Peppermint however long they wanted, whenever they wanted. All day, every day, the three of them were always together. This was the thing that bothered Sorbet the most, it had become obvious that Gumball was crushing on Peppermint as well . . . but Sorbet was convinced they liked Peppermint more. That they were the best for them.

" Hey Peppermint, I've got to go, but I have something to give you so expect it in your dorm later, okay ? " Gumball said as they stared at the smaller cookie with cat eyes. Sorbet only scoffed and glared at them harder.

" Yep ! That's just fine, but I won't see it for a while, I'm probably going to have a lot of homework today. " They said before they started to wave goodbye to their friend.

" Ciao " Gumball said as they waved and walked backward before turning around and dashing off. Peppermint giggled and continued to wave goodbye until they left. Sorbet couldn't do anything but stare at them with cold eyes. ( AN: This hurts. . .writing Sorbet like this. But AU will be AU. )

Sorbet took out their keys to their dorm and opened the door before they heard Gumball trip down the hall. Right . . . they were going to give Peppermint something. They hid behind their door and watched Gumball slip a pink letter into their mailbox. They continued to glare at them, suddenly seeing them freeze as the bloodlust feeling reached their subconscious. They quickly scampered off, leaving Sorbet to eye the letter. The shark closed their door quietly, looking down the other side of the hall and making sure no one else was around, then waited for Gumball to turn the corner.
