But really, I'm so bored.
I finished helping my dad with his work, finalized my song with Kuya Producer, cleaned my room, and helped mom with chores. Now, what do I do?
I decided to go to my living room to look at my trophies. Wow, I miss the time where Archie and I were the new faces of the music industry. The rivalry felt so fun but challenging at the same time. Especially that the public knew our family background.
FLASHBACK TO 1995
BREAKING NEWS: Anak ni Mayor Karson Diaz, si Alora Diaz ay isang artista na! Kamakailan lang ay inilabas niya ang kanyang unang kanta na Cool Ka Lang.
Yes, yes yes! Finally, Cool Ka Lang is out! Thank you Lord!
After all that convincing, my parents finally made a decision to let me start my career. Here is 16 year old Alora Diaz, breaking through the music industry!
"Alora! Sige, start muna tayo sa rehearsals. Mula sa backstage, pumasok ka sa sandaling magsimula ang music ha. Dadating din sa likod mo ang mga background dancers. Gets?" Kuya Director instructed me.
"Yes po kuya." I replied.
After rehearsals, I then went to the dressing room to put on my costume and makeup. Oh, the feels! Such a dram come true.
"BEHHH GOOD LUCK AH! Sana hindi ka madulas sa stage hehe" Zia jokingly said.
"Hay nako Zia, wala ka bang tiwala sa artista namin! Anak ng Diaz pa yan ah." Dara said.
"Hays bahala kayo, basta support me no matter what. Besties naman diba?" I said.
"Oo naman!" They said energetically.
"Alora Diaz, Pumunta ka na sa backstage bilis!" Kuya directed
I went backstage and saw all the dancers and other performers. I suddenly felt nervous, but it's alright. I can do this. No pressure.
"Dabarkads! Cool ka lang ba? Well, Tingnan natin ang performance na toh kung cool ka talaga. Dabarkads, Alora Diaz!" The host announced.
The moment of truth.
Buhol-buhol ang traffic, cinut ka pa ng jeep

Wow, the claps, the screams, the everything! This moment felt so surreal. I'll cherish this moment forever and always. I'm officially a star!
After the show, i went to my van right away since my schedule is packed.
"Alora, since politician naman ang inyong tatay, ba't hindi ka nalang din sumama?" The interviewer asks.
"Well, hindi naman kailangan na parehas yung career noh. We do what we want in our life. Kung saya ka sa ginagawa mo, cool ka lang!" I replied.
"Pero Ate, kung hindi ka musician ngayon, would you have another considered job?" The interviewer also asks.
"I don't think so, kase kung gusto mo talaga yung job na yun. Ba't ka dapat mag-consider sa iba, diba?" I said.
And that was my last interview of the day! I then went home to see my parents congratulating me. They were a lot more proud than I expected. Not surprising Alice and Andre aren't even here. But, who cares? I finished my first ever day as a musician! That is what I should be thinking about.
I went to take my deserving rest for the day until I heard the news.

Yeah.. Let's not go to that part shall we. It was still a great time though and i would relive that moment if I could.
"Anak, can you come here for a sec?" My dad asks.
Well, time to be busy again. I sometimes wonder though, what did Archie think about his debut days? What did he feel about stealing my spotlight?
