(Nitra's pov)

I was leaning against the wall on the bridge next to Soundwave feeding Laserbeek energon snacks since she was hungry. They were thin slips of energon that got dispensed from a container. Soundwave would normally do it but he was assigned to looking for the dark energon so he told me to do it. To everyone not in our little circle of trust and, surprisingly, friendship it looked like I was his assistant, which I technically was mostly because that way it would look less suspicious of why I hang around him so much, and to be honest I didn't really mind being his assistant because it was kinda fun at times, mostly because when he found a energon signal he would send me giving me not only some fresh air but also to transforme into my motorcycle alt mode and drive around.

(Also I don't think I mentioned this but Nitra has Arcee's weapons, with some of her own too, and Arcee's vehicle mode just purple like Nitra's armor.)

I heard a beeping noise come from Soundwave's monitor and so did Megatron because he walked over to us.

Megatron: "Soundwave, have you found the actual location of the dark energon and not one of those beacons those pesky humans have placed and trapped?" He asked and referring to Nest making fake dark energon signature beacons and than rigging the area around it with TONS upon TONS of C4 and other explosives.

Soundwave: "Yes, Lord Megatron." He said using a voice recording of me which I replied with a small glare from behind my visor.

Megatron: "Good now prepare an army of vehicons and open a ground bridge." He said before turning around to walk off.

Soundwave: "Can not Lord Megatron, something appears to be blocking the ground bridge from opening near the signature." He said using multiple different voice recordings.

Megatron: "Than open one as close as possible and me, Starscream, and several squadrons of vehicon seekers will move in and destroy whatever is blocking the ground bridge from opening close to it and you'll send in an army of vehicons through that one." He said before walking away.

Me: "Soundwave, didn't I ask and tell you that I don't like you using recordings of my voice when I'm in hearing range." I whispered to him a bit annoyed at him.

Soundwave: "Yes." He said using a voice recording of Starscream. "But it's cute when your slightly annoyed." He whispered using his real voice.

Me: "Uhhh o-ok. But would you like to spar later after this mission." I asked him.

Soundwave: "Yes. But if I win you retract your battle mask and if you win you get Laserbeek for a day." He said using multiple voice recordings.

Me: "Deal." I said immediately.

He nodded before getting back to work. I felt flustered from what he said and feeling slightly nervous and scared for the fight. Nervous and scared because he's one of the very FEW people who came close to defeating MEGATRON!

Anyways. I know why the ground bridge can't open near the dark energon signature. It's because every Nest and cybertronian Alliance base, outpost, city, colony, FOB, etc, has a device that blocks all unauthorized ground bridge signals. Making them impossible to infiltrate using a ground bridge so they'll have to make it past a TON AA and AAA plus all the ground defenses along the walls of the base and artillery. The bases and cities/colonies also have interior defenses too so the defenders can fall back to them to make a stand. Their usually made around strategic points like bridges, center of the complex, city halls, HQ buildings, etc. Their a pain to invade like their supposed to unless you somehow attack them while their unprepared. Which is a problem today since Lightning, Eagle, Thunder, and several other air squadrons were supposed to get upgrades today and if the upgrades are rushed than the vehicles will be too dangerous to use out of fear of them possibly exploding or worse.
