Once they we're in the castle, Hagrid left and they saw a old lady standing on the stairs with long robes and a pointy hat on.
'Ooh the first years are here! Welcome' she said warmly.
She looked at the new students for a while and then said' before you can take your seats, you must be sorted into your houses. They're Gryffindor, Huffelpuff, Ravenclaw and Slyterin'
Hermione and Y/N looked at each other, excited. 'Let's go to the Great Hall' professor McGonagall, her name, said.
They walked into a big hall with four long tables, filled with children from different years.
In front of the tables was a long table with teachers sitting there. In front of the table was a chair with a pointed hat on the top.
Y/N felt nervous.
The all gathered in front of the chair and professor McGonagall called out a name'Hermione Granger' she gulped and sat on the chair.
Professor McGonagall placed the hat on her head. Y/N heard it whisper.
What?! A hat who talked?
She waited and suddenly the hat shouted 'GRYFFINDOR' everyone started clapping and Hermione happily walked to the Gryffindor table.
'Y/N Greens' she slowly stepped forward and sat on the chair.
The hat sat on her head as she heard it mutter'Mmmm smart and hardworking, but creative and shy.
Ya,ya RAVENCLAW' Y/N gasped, she was in Ravenclaw!
What?! Y/N stomach dropped. But.. she looked at Hermione and saw her clapping. Oh,Hermione they weren't in the same house!
She snapped out of it as she was walking to the Ravenclaw table.
She sat down next to a girl with blonde hair and a dreamy look in her eyes. 'Hi. Welcome to Ravenclaw! I'm Luna, Luna Lovegood' 'Nice to meet you' Y/N smiled.
After the ceremony she ran towards Hermione and hugged her. 'Oh, congratulations making it into Ravenclaw!' Hermione said
'Thanks! And you making it into Gryffindor with Harry and Ron, who you loveeeeeee' Y/N smirked.
Hermione rolled her eyes and said' oh we have go! I'm getting a dorm! See you later Hermione!' Y/N said.
She walked up to Luna as they followed the Ravenclaw group. They stopped in front of a big portrait as someone shouted'a circle has no beginning' with was the answer to a riddle as the password.
The portrait flew open and inside there was a circled room with long windows and all the furniture and accessories was light,blue and bronze.
They stepped in and looked around.
It was so beautiful!
She heard her name somewhere'...Y/N Greens...' she tapped Luna on the shoulder' hey what's going on?'
'Oh, we just got selected into our dorms. Your sharing one with me, Lisa Turpin and Padma Patil. Come, follow me' Luna said.
The walked upstairs and opened a door wherein they found, again, a circled room.
There where window with thin, light blue curtains hanging and beds with the head placed under the window.
Everything was detailed with blue and bronze, the Ravenclaw Colors.
Y/N saw a bed with her trolley and Amethyst standing next to it.
She walked towards it and asked shyly' is it okay if I let my cat out of her cage?'
Lisa answered' Of course! After all, it's your dorm to!' She laughed.
Y/N giggled to.
Making friends wasn't that hard after all...
