12am, as usual you stayed up late again doing paperworks and student progress reports. The night is silent until you heard a weird noise outside your apartment. Sliding the glass door of your balcony, you peeked out to see if someone is there.
There were no stars nor moon visible right now so it's really pitch dark. It's weird to hear something out there because it's just an abandoned old apartment.
After seeing nothing, you stretched out your arms upward and let out a deep sigh. Maybe you're just hearing things because of tiredness. You went back inside the room and closed the sliding door.

The next morning. Police came knocking on your door. There was a dead body of a young woman discovered inside the vicinity of the abandoned apartment which is opposite to your balcony.
Your face went pale after hearing it. The weird noises you were hearing last night was a dead body being dragged on the ground and tossed on the bushes. There were trees and tall grasses on the yard of the abandoned apartment because it has been left as it is for how many years.
The questioning from the police was brief, so you rushed to prepare for work.
The preschool where you work as a teacher is not that far from your place. It's only around 20 minutes of walk but today is different. You are walking with your mind preoccupied with what happened. What if the murderer thinks you saw the whole thing? What if he/she saw your face and go after you?
Feeling nauseous from the thought of danger that might come to you, you finally arrived at the school. After punching in your time card, the principal immediately called for you in the office.
A new student is transferring to your class.
