Last year, Jeon Jungkook, a 25 year old Korean pop star and heartthrob of his group, Lunar8, left his band to try and make it on his own as a solo artist. Little did he know that only a year later, his face would be on every billboard in every city across the world. Wherever he goes, hundreds of screaming fans line the streets around him, each of them dying for him to just glance their way, desperate for a picture or a small smile. The fame never bothered Jungkook, though, as he'd been training for it nearly his whole life, and his time in Lunar8 gave a good taste of the popularity that was to come, but more than anything, Jungkook wished he could be more open about his sexuality than his label is allowing. And, even more than that, he wished he could somehow undue his recent, heart wrenching break up from his ex (and model-level gorgeous) boyfriend and current manager, 40 year old Kang Bon-Hwa. It was Bon-Hwa who ended their affair nearly a year ago, after Jungkook went solo, not wanting to risk them being found out, or at least that was his reasoning, but Jungkook knew the real reason had to do with the drunken night that Jungkook revealed too much of his heart to Bon-Hwa and ruined everything.
Kim Taehyung is a florist by day and a secret K-pop stan by night, spending any of his free time writing songs and performing them at bars and cafes. More than anything, Taehyung wants to be an idol, and sing in front of cheering thousands of people, and inspiring them with his songs. He always felt it was unfair that some kids (like those boys in Lunar8) get into the K-pop world so easily, simply because their families were rich enough to put them into training when they were young. If only he had been given that luxury, too.
On the eve of Taehyung's 27th birthday, a bedraggled young man seeks shelter in his shop from the rain, crying and babbling about something stupid that he said, and how he messed everything up. Taehyung realized the boy was Jeon Jungkook, the member of Lunar8 that just went solo, and Taehyung's friend, Jimin's, bias. Confused, but pitying Jungkook Taehyung invites him to stay the night and makes him some tea, and Jungkook agrees. He's gone by the time the sun rises, and Taehyung keeps their encounter a secret from his friends, and holds onto the haunting, drunken words that Jungkook said to him about making it in the K-pop World: 'The thing about a rising star, Mr.Kim. . . is that eventually, it has to fall.'
Now, ten months later, Taehyung is still back in his old routine, selling flowers in a street corner shop in Itaewon during the day and once the shop closes, writing songs he may never be able to sell. Then, one of his best friends, Jimin, forces him to go see a Jungkook concert in Seoul, and signs Taehyung for a chance to win singing and writing lessons with Jungkook, and the opportunity to even get signed by his label. Taehyung, to his surprise and delight, wins the draw, only to find that Jeon Jungkook was not the same, sweet young boy from ten months ago, and for some unknown reason, is hell bent on Taehyung not getting signed to his label. But, Kim Taehyung, doesn't know how to quit, and soon the two begin a relationship that could make or break both their careers.

As some, or most, of you readers may know, I have another novel on Wattpad called "Suits" that I actually wrote as a cross-over with the writer withSopeontheside <3 Hers is called "Scrubs" and currently we are both still working on those novels but once we are finished we are going to start two new ones, one of them being this book ("Superstar") and the other one being "Say Yes" by withSopeontheside <3 anyway, so basically how it works is both of our storys have the same characters and such, only her novel is focused on Sope (Yoonseok) and mine is on Taekook^^ she has also already posted the intro for it and everything, so please go check it out, as we will start writing these together at the same time >_<

This novel is going to be mostly FLUFF and smut ^~^. I am trying to lean away from the angsty stuff this time around, because "Suits" has been kind of an emotional roller coaster. (we love it though >_<)
