Years later they are now close friends who may or may not be developing feelings.
It was early morning when Aaliyah had woken up most likely around 5am, She always woke up around then and she also always had a hard time sleeping. So instead of trying to go back to sleep she slowly slid off of the bed and put on her slippers since it was kinda cold in her apartment. As she got up she went to grab her glasses and opened up the curtains, She slightly winced at the sudden light. Since she had classes that day she had to get ready so she hopped into the shower, after she looked for an outfit.

After she got dressed she put her braids in a swoop with a ponytail and edges, then she grabbed her bags and headed out. As she got to campus she went to her first class then after she went off to meet her best friend Saiyah."Hey girll" Saiyah said with a glowing smile."Hey! i couldn't find you earlier" Aaliyah said, "Oh it's alright.. so! what are we doing later today?" Saiyah says. "I dunno, i might go over to Dre's house to chill." Aaliyah said "Ohh.. Can i come?" Saiyah said. "Yea of course you can come" Aaliyah said.

It was around 2pm when Aaliyah finally finished her classes, So she told Saiyah to meet her at her brother's house. When she arrived there her and Saiyah pulled up at the same time so they went up to her brothers house together. Finally Aaliyah saw the door opening as she and Saiyah were greeted by her brother Dre, As they stepped into the house Aaliyah saw oakley they exchanged greeting and then Saiyah and Dre started talking. Aaliyah was pretty sure they liked each other but she didn't want to push anyone just in case. "So how have you been liyah." Oakley said looking up from his phone " I've been good, How about you." Aaliyah said "I have been doing good.. I haven't really seen you around much yeah?" Oakley said. " Oh yea i just have been doing a lot with school lately." Aaliyah said as Saiyah and Dre walked back in and Saiyah sat down next to Aaliyah, She whispered in Saiyah's ear "Did you enjoy your time with dre?" Aaliyah said with a devious smile "Oh shut up" Saiyah said "Okay but did you..?" Aaliyah said " Did you enjoy your time with oakley?" Saiyah whispered slightly louder than she needed to. Aaliyah jabs Saiyah in her side with her elbow "Oww" Saiyah said. After that Aaliyah went into the kitchen to raid the fridge, after grabbing some snacks Aaliyah sat back down on the couch and watched tv for a little while. Then after a little it started to get late and she had a paper she needed to start so she went ahead and headed home. "Bye guys!" Aaliyah says hugging her brother and waving at oakley. "Bye sis" Dre said "Bye..be safe" Oakley said as Aaliyah and Saiyah left out going their separate ways.
