Jungkook finally stepped into the hotel where the party would be held.He felt uncomfortable ,1 because he didn't know where he was going and who he was going to.He was already feeling out of place.2,He was never comfortable in a suit.
To his greatest relief he saw Wendy walking up to him.
"Welcome"she said to him.
"Thank you"
"Don't tell me you were planning to leave already ?"she asked him
"Yeah"he grinned
Wendy smiled"Come on let me take you to where the party is at"
"I hope I'm not late"
"Of course you are not.Please follow me .Mr Kim awaits .The junior"she emphasize the last part probably because she was aware of the little special time the two males had.
Jungkook froze.Taehyung was waiting for him .They got to the ballroom soon enough.It was packed with people Jungkook hadn't seen before.Amongst all those people he was glad to see Jimin and his husband.At least he wasn't totally going to feel alone.
When Jungkook saw Taehyung in the crowd his breath quickened.He never knew that the alpha looked charming in suits and an exposed forehead.The man in front of him seemed a little bit familiar but not exactly the person he remembered.
Soon enough they stood in front of each other.The omega's breath hitched and a thousand butterflies erupted from the pit of his stomach.After he left the alpha's house he had never thought they would see each other again and here there are:with their eyes locked.
"Mr Kim I brought your special guest.Have yourselves a wonderful night"Wendy said
"Thank you Ms Wendy"Taehyung said with equal politeness
"You are most welcome Mr Kim"Wendy smiled and then disappeared into the crowd.
Taehyung's eyes had never left Jungkook's ever since he noticed the omega.He looked gorgeous.
"I'm glad you could make it"his voice was deeper than Jungkook had remembered
"I came for your dad"Jungkook uttered meekly
Taehyung chuckle"Straightforward are we?"
"You look gorgeous by the way"
"Thank you,Mr Kim"
"Why are you being so formal as if we haven't fucked around a lot.We aren't strangers"he whispered over the smaller's ear
Jungkook turned pale and looked around to check if there was no one eavesdropping on them.
"Chill.No one heard that if that's what you are afraid of.Besides no one will even care"Taehyung said
"Whatever happened between us was in the past and I would like it to stay that way"Jungkook said stifly
"Why are you so nervous"
"I'm not"
"Then come and help me cut the cake.I couldn't cut it without you"Taehyung said
Jungkook was beyond shocked.He wanted him to do what"What if I hadn't came "
"I knew you wouldn't be able to refuse my father so that's why I used him.To make sure you came"
"Thank you for being honest"he offered the alpha a tight lipped smile.
"I'm a very honest man,Jungkook"his gaze was intense as he uttered those words.
"Yeah if you do say so yourself"
"Do you hate me that much that you won't even wish me a happy birthday"he chuckled
