We started off in a happy home
Had a few things,not much of our own
Brought our daughter home shortly after
Filled her days with joy and laughter
Everything was great until it was known
That they could not leave us alone
We had to leave our home
Didnt know where we were going to roam
Small space, just sqeezeing through
We were sad, but i had you
We were in a stressful time in our life
Im glad I had you to keep my spirit alive
We now can start a new chapter
Make new memories and more laughter
