Werewolf History

Nico was in the shower when he heard the door open, and someone walked in, he didn't recognize the scent, Percy had already left this morning to go to the hospital.

He quietly slipped out of the shower, put his underwear and pants on, slipping though the master bedroom looked down at the bottom floor he saw a handsome guy with black hair. He shadow travelled and appeared out of the guys shadow. "Can I help you?" he asked.

On instinct Derek spun around and went to punch Nico, who simply grabbed his wrist , and squeezed it. "Can I help you?" he asked calmy, he caught the intruders' scent, wolf. "Ah, you must be Derek." he let go of Derek's arm. "I'm Nico, Percy's cousin and beta."

Derek looked at Nico, this was Percy's beta? Why was he so strong? He was way too strong just to be a beta, he also didn't seem to have a scent. "So can I help you with something, or do you normally break into people's home for a laugh?"

"I'm looking for Percy, where is he?"

"He's at the hospital with Lydia," Nico said, Derek went to leave but Nico grabbed his arm. "But I can't let you go to him, you see there's a thing between them, and well you don't seem the type to respect privacy."

Derek glared at Nico trying to intimidate him. "You may be able to intimidate mortals, and some werewolves with that look, but I'm werecoyote, so I'm immune to it." Nico responded, their normal eyes locked before shifting to their shifter eyes, red stared at blue.

"Your eyes are blue?" Derek was surprised, he didn't think Percy's beta would have blue eyes. "Who'd you kill?"

"A sociopath, see no respect for privacy."

"Killing a sociopath wouldn't turn your eyes blue." Derek stated, he didn't like being lied to.

"No," Nico correct Derek, "it wouldn't turn your eyes blue, but I'm different."

"What does that mean?"

Nico smirked but didn't respond but looked at clock on the wall. "Time for me to go to school, you can leave now." Nico pointed towards the door; Derek growled but walked out the door. Nico could only wonder one thing as he walked out the door. Was Percy doing to skip school again?

"Hey," Percy said as he entered Lydia's room, she was standing there with an older red hair woman, who Percy figured was her mother.

"Hi," Lydia responded with a smile that made his insides flatter. Damn it, Aphrodite he cursed internally. Stop messing with my love life.

Percy stepped towards the older woman and held out his hand, "Hi I'm Perseus Jackson-Hale, but you can call me Percy."

Natalie looked him over before smiling seemingly in approval and shaking his hand, "Natalie Martin, so Percy how do you know Lydia you seem a bit old for high school."

Percy smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his head. "Yes, I'm 19, but I stop going to school in sixth grade, so yeah."

"And why did you stop going to school?"

"My family was burnt alive," Percy snapped, "I needed some me time. My uncle took me in, and I was home schooled." Not actually a lie, he did need me time, Chiron was technically his uncle being a son of Kronos and he was schooled at Camp-Half Blood which was his home.

"I see, I'll meet you at the car sweetie," Natalie told Lydia as she walked passed Percy.

"Sorry," Percy told Lydia, "I'm sure me snapping at your mother wasn't what you needed or wanted first thing in the morning."

"No, it wasn't," the banshee told him, "But I'll forgive you." Percy smiled at her, Lydia felt butterflies in her stomach. "Snapping seems to be becoming common in this room," she said as a sad look appeared in her eyes, thinking about her fight with Allison.
