Lev's POV
I was deeply in shocked when Mr. Foster uttered those words to me. I will inherited the ring that was pass through from 10 different generations and now it is my turn to wear it. I just can't believe I will sooner wear a 1000 year old ring. Mr. Foster smiled at me and gave me a nice hug. He touched both of my cheeks.
“Give me your hand,” Kendrick uttered to me.
I gave my hands to my husband. He slowly put it on my ring finger. After he put it, I looked at my fingers and the ring is really beautiful, I can't take my eyes off of it. But, I can't wear these on my everyday life. It might be stolen nor lose it.
“The ring has a very long history, Lev. Better take care of it for our future kids to inherit it,” Kendrick explained to me.
“I can't wear this Ken on my everyday life,” I uttered to him. “This is precious, and has already a long history. What if, it might be stolen? Or I will lose it?” I asked to Kendrick.
Mr. Foster looked at me and simply gave me a nice grin. He suddenly gets closer to me and pinned his nose at me, and gave me a nice kiss in the lips.
“You won't, Lev. You'll be only displaying that. You would only wear that on special occasions,” Mr. Foster explained. “That ring was supposedly will be given by Great Felix to his boyfriend, but their love was denied because homosexual wasn’t able to show love at that time. Felix was forced to give it to the girl he was forced to marry. And that is it, it started to be an inheritance. It's my turn to give it to you, and for our future kids,” Kendrick explained to me.
I tinted. I was touched on Kendrick's words. He is really an amazing man, he never fails to make me tint. I looked at him and he was so happy like a little kid. I looked at Mr. Foster and he has still a wide smile on his face while staring at me.
“If your eyes are a fire, I already melt a long time ago,” I said it.
He simply cackled at me and patted my head. He went first on the office because there is something that he needed to check. I simply responded to him that I will follow him shortly. Charlotte immediately sat next to me after Kendrick left. She took my head and looked at the ring I am wearing. She started to looked at it with amazed expressions.
“Wow!” the only word she was able to say after seeing the ring personally.
“I don't know, Charlotte,” I uttered to her. “It is beautiful but I don't know if I can wear it. It's expensive and has already a long history with the Fosters, knowing how clumsy I am,” I explained to her.
She simply slap my head softly and laughed. I don't know what she is laughing about, there is nothing to be cackled of. I looked at the ring, and by just seeing the big emerald on it, I know that this is very expensive and it is already old. If I would sell this, collector would be killing each other if so.
“Lev, Lev, Lev,” Charlotte kept repeating my name. “Stop overthinking. It would not. Ken uttered that he will kept it on a special place, there is nothing to worry about Lev. Just relax and enjoy your life of being Kendrick Bryle Foster's wife. Girls would be pretty jealous of you,” he added to me.
“Yeah,” the only word that came out on my mouth after she responded to me.
I looked at the ring. I can’t get off my eyes on it. I am so confused right now. Why the ring was given to Kendrick when he has a bigger sister? There is almost a 20 of 11th Generation of Mr. Foster, why would be they given to Mr. Foster that married a man instead of a woman? And why the ring is perfectly on my ring finger? There is so many questions running on my mind.
“I should go, now,” I uttered to her. “Ken, must be finding me already,” I explained to her.
She simply nodded her head at me and waved. While walking on my way to Ken's office. I kept questioning myself a lots of things. Why do the ring fits perfectly to me. I looked at the ring and it isn't adjustable. Adjustable rings were only made on 1885, and I know that this ring is older than adjustable rings. It isn't loose nor tight on me, it is just perfectly fit on me. Is his family a magician or something? I need to ask him about this. I entered his office and I saw him napping on his chair.
“I can ask him, later,” I uttered to myself.
I got back to my table and opened my laptop and wait for it to load. While waiting for it to load, I continuously looked at the ring. I can see my own reflection because of how shiny the emerald is. I also noticed that the ring is made of gold and has a little gems of diamonds. Instead of continue working, I searched about the ring. I don't know what it is called. I simply put Foster Emerald Ring. I immediately saw the ring. It is made of gold, big emeralds, and also diamonds which I am currently seeing on the ring. But, I was confused when it says that it has ruby and sapphire on it. I looked more further and I saw that two of those gems was inside and was hide the inside of the ring.
“Amazing,” I uttered.
My jaw dropped when I saw the price, it is worth 5 billion dollars. I can't believe that that I am a 5 billion dollar ring. It says that the next in line to wear the ring is... me?! How the fuck did the internet know? The article was published a month ago. People really know the Foster Family. The article was released on the exact day I got married to Mr. Foster. This paparazzi really is fast. Disadvantage of marrying a rich man: people has eyes on for you. But people is scared of Mr. Foster, so I won't worry that much.
“The ring is very beautiful. I don't know if I deserved it,” I uttered to myself.
Mr. Foster married a wrong person. I am not a gold digger to be spoiled with such expensive things. I also don't know how to use them all. From shirts to jewelleries. I don' know how can I use them all, I am not that showy people. I looked at Kendrick, and he is still peacefully sleeping. I looked at the ring and I noticed something. There is letters on it, I don't know if the letters are intentional to put or just simply a random letters. It has 11 letters, and one of it is Letter L. It suddenly made me curious. I searched who is the inheritance of the ring to check if the letters are really connected.
After checking all those names, it was really correct. Maybe they are carved once they are given? But it seems like they are not. I know the difference between carved and embroidered. I looked at it very closely. It was not really carved. They can lose a million they carved it.
“It's precious right?” Mr. Foster asked to me.
I completely nodded at him. He stand up from his sit and approached me. He smiled at me.
“Like you, my love,” he said to me and gave me a kissed in the lips.
